This is an older hotel but located in the heart of Inner City within walking distance to most sights and the closest metro station was just around the corner. The rooms were humongous with tall ceilings and spacious bathrooms. Our shower door did cause a leak but you can tell it was recently updated with new fixtures. Breakfast offered a...

We loved the Pertschy when we were last there in 2008 and we still loved it this year, but it wouldn't be to everybody's taste. Its location is unbeatable - within two minutes' walk of the cathedral, the Hofsburg and the main shopping streets. But it is decidedly quirky. The new reception area is misleadingly normal, but you then have...

The hotel is very central and close to many sights renowned in Vienna. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable and equipped with everything even a kettle for coffee. The breakfast was exquisite and the coffee machine on the ground floor was a good add-on however - dont know whether this is the norm in Austria. So close to Hoffsburg and...

The best reason to stay at this hotel is the location. It is perfectly situated near all of the city attractions. The hotel room itself was a little outdated but the location made made me forget any imperfections. The breakfast was a vast array of both hot and cold items and was delicious. There is always coffee located in the...

Deal guest, thank you for sharing your experience at Pertschy Palais Hotel with other travelers . We also thank you for pointing out the parking problem: the fact to sleep in a listed building a few steps from the pedestrian area of the city is the reason why it is not allowed to park in the front of the hotel,...

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
