I have never stayed in this sort of place, therefore I am not really able to compare to anywhere else. What can I say about this place: very central (you can just walk everywhere), is clean and tidy, bed was fine and shower was nice and clean. The ladies were nice (specially the blond young girl, usually smiley and very...

Stayed for three nights to visit Christmas markets & for a mini break. The location is awesome, restaurants & bars within 5 minute walk & right on top of St Stephen's Cathedral. All the staff were super helpful, booking restaurants & providing directions The decor in the hotel is very dated, however bathroom more modern with a good shower. Floorboards...

The location, within steps of Stephansplatz, could not be better. For first time travelers to Vienna this makes sense as you explore the city. It is true that the rooms are small, but we were there to explore one of the most beautiful cities in the world, not hang out in the hotel room. The front desk girls could not...

This hotel has a great location and is staffed by some nice people. But it has a downside or two. My room was the size of a closet. And entering the hotel wasn't good as the building's common area smelled and was quite dirty.

Firstly this is not a hotel so I'm not sure why it is listed as one. It is more of a B&B. Upon requesting a quiet room we were given a room virtually in the reception. Possibly one of the worse nights sleep I have had in a hotel in a long time. The walls must be made of paper...

We stayed here three nights and were quite pleased . The staff are very welcoming for a small property like this which has no more than 24 rooms . The location is great and the rooms are cute . The only irritation is that the floors creak quite badly and make so much noise . The neighbors footsteps are also...

This hotel is located in the heart of Vienna's old city. It is within the shopping area, but in a quite street. The room was small, but very clean and the bed comfortable. The personnel was very courteous, helpful and professional. Breakfast was good and wifi works fine. A very good choice for a short stay in Vienna.

Spent 4 nights with a colleague, a very enjoyable stay. The place is right in the center of the city, only a few minutes walking distance to Stephansplatz and to the Hofburg and museums area. The hotel is at the third floor of a somewhat old building, but the room are nicely renovated, in particular the bathroom. The staff was...

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
