Dear Ali I, thank you for your positive review. Depending on your requirements we have different categories in our hotel. If you want to stay for a longer term, I would recommend to take a bigger apartment (maybe with separate living- and sleeping area ), on the other hand, if you are in Vienna for f.e. 2 nights and you... The price is fair for an apart hotel some 6 km away from Vienna downtown. But the hotel needs a new management to take care of maintenance. WiFi is free but the signal is erratic. One of the lifts was out of order during the week I spent there. Good and positives points: breakfast is quite good (€ 15/person) and... More

Dear PimentelRiodeJaneiro, thank you very much for your review. Sometimes its even unbelieveable for me that you just need 18min from our hotel to the 1st district. We tried to find a location which is close to downtown, but also in a quiet area with good infrastructure. I want to apologize for the inconvenience regarding the WIFI. Right now, we... More

Every hotel of enduring quality faces periodic remodeling, and Derag LH is reaching that point. An elevator was out of order and some carpets are showing deep stains, yet, overall, the Derag LH is an excellent value. The staff without exception addressed my needs. I enjoyed the terrace with table and chairs outside my room, and the rooms are functional... More

I was in Vienna for medical treatment at Rudolfinerhaus hospital. The hotel is only a short walk to the hospital. 15 minutes to Vienna city centre by the Tram. Rooms are small but the renovated rooms are good.

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful, the hotel rooms were clean and very well equipped. Just beside the hotel there's a Billa supermarket and on the other corner there's a Spar Gourmet supermarket, besides the two restaurants and the bar at the hotel, and there's another restaurant just across the street, as well as a Bank. Room adequate if dated decor. WIFI barely works. Breakfast- bad, very bad. We were on a coach trip and the hotel arranged sittings for the four different coach parties fair enough. Well equipped room, which needs some modernisation. The Hotel is a little bit old fashioned. Big room with good facilities, comfortable and clean. The staff is kind, and helpful. The location is very good. Quiet, and has an affordabla price. Quick Wifi. And fresh water and beer in the fridge, free of charge. :)

Stayed for 2 night. Good: Very helpful receptionist Good location,15 Mins to Centre by tram15 Mins Next to supermarket, restaurants (Chinese, Pizzeria, Kebabs and McDonalds) Very good breakfast (hot and cold, plenty of choices) Fairly reasonable room rate. Bad: Old decor Parking charges 12Euro per night Big hotel so if you allocated on the apartment wing, long walk to Entrance.

Staying in Dobling

Neighbourhood Profile
Dobling
Vienna’s poshest green leafy suburb is also its most romantic hotspot. Walk up Grinzinger Strasse with its many historic wine taverns. The tops of nearby Nussberg and Reisenberg hills make for great strolls through the vineyards, and the occasional discovery of a hidden winery. Popular local weekend hangouts are Neustift am Walde with even more great wine taverns, and café restaurant Cobenzl, up on Cobenzl hill – fantastic for great vistas of Vienna. The woodland around Kahlenberg has a wonderful and not too strenuous hiking path - just don't forget the insect repellent. If you have adventurous children, take them to Waldseilpark Kahlenberg (forest rope park Kahlenberg). A must-do if you want a taste of the Vienna Woods is a stop at Josefinenhütte next door with its great food, cosy interiors and wonderful outdoor space.
