A great location and very good value combined with friendly staff make this a good choice when visiting central Vienna on a budget. I stayed here recently on a business trip, the staff were also very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I had no time for breakfast so, can't comment on that, sorry.

We stayed from, 04 - 07/04/2017 for 3 nights. Its a good hotel, nothing to complain about. Price is also OK. Close to the West Train Station, Tube Station and Shopping Street. City Center is about 10 minutes with the Tube.

I found this hotel with a very good rate for Easter weekend. I decided to give it a go, despite some reviews I found about it. The hotel is recently renovated, but the structure is old. We got an upgrade for a suite in the 7th floor, which provided us a balcony with perfect views over the rooftops in Vienna....

Had a good room in the 5th floor with comfortable bed. Close to the metro station and only few hundred meters from the Mariahilfestrasse. Didn't have a chance to taste the breakfast. Price/quality is great.

I booked this Mercure hotel from the Accor site, exploiting my gold membership. For this reason I was granted a free room upgrade to Privilege. Rooms are very modern and well equipped, maybe a bit smaller than average. Good and comprehensive breakfast. All in all a very good choice at a reasonable price

Stay here in March for 2 nigts. The hotel is very clean. The room was big and the bed was very comfortable. And there was a bathtube at the bathroom. Also it is great to have kettle at room. The hotel is near the metro station and Westbanhof. And there was Lidl nearby.

Generally when in Vienna I always try to stay in the very city-center but this time I've chosen without knowing about this hotel and had a really very good stay, as it is well connected with all public bus and metro lines.

We visited vienna at the end of December and we stayed at Mercure Raphael Hotel Wien for 4 nights! Everything was very nice! Staying in Mariahilf

Neighbourhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
