Been there in November 2008 on a business trip. A bit outside of the city but good connection to the city traffic. The hotel itself is nothing spectacular: nice clean average rooms, with good service and a rich breakfast buffet. Overall good value for the money.

The Renaissance Wien is located within walking distance of the Schoenbrunn Palace, on a main road (easy to find from the M-1). Once you're there, you can rely on public transportation, since it is catty-corner from a major subway stop (from there it's a matter of moments into the central city, or the Vienna West train station). The location is...

The hotel is outside the center of the city but at a walkable distance from the Schonbrunn palace. Good lounge area, helpful staff and a good breakfast buffet. Small but clean and quite rooms at a good price. Give that we stayed there for a business reason, I would say that the overall value for money was more than average.

Loved the overall interior of the hotel. The rooms were comfy and clean. Good sized even for 3 people with an extra bed. The buffet was awesome! The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a bit outside of the city but very near Schonbrunn palace. There's a specialty convenience store across the street. - free 30 minute wifi at...

Bearing in mind the outrageous prices demanded by Viennese hotels these days, the Renaissance, though 10 min's metro ride from the centre, offers good value for money. It's true that it's looking rather dated (think late 80's style/standard), but it's comfortable enough, and, lets face it you don't come to Vienna to sit in a hotel room all day. If...

The hotel is located on the outer areas of Vienna. It is isolated and from the outside looks antiquated in both color and styling. The foyer also looks dated but the staff were helpful in giving directions to the nearest transport facilities.Hotel is located a few hundred meters from the lake. The room price is good for this city.Rooms unfortunately are old with...

Hello, Just I spent 3 days on this beautiful city Vienna with my wife, 2 daughters and my sister in law. First of all, I booked this hotel due to the price, location and for the prestige of Marriot hotels. The hotel looks old, the colour outside is not so good for me "Pink", but inside is different. I requested...

We had a good well appointed room, quiet and close to elevators. room 255. twin beds were very comfortable and wide (queen size) . For 69 Euros per night for the room ( without breakfast) good value. Opposite the Hotel is U-bahn and you can buy various type of tickets for Vienna's excellent public transport with cash or creditcard. Easy...

This hotel was very adequate for our stay in Vienna. It is located a few blocks from Schonbrun Castle and zoo but not close to anything else including restaurants. The subway station is directly across the street which made it convenient to get to attractions and center city, but other that that it was really out of the main area...

Maybe I've been spoilt but I didn't really get on with this place at all. It felt like the staff didn't even want to be there. The rooms are looking tired but the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good but wi-fi is ridiculously expensive. These days it should be free. It is good value for money, so that is...
