Detailed Reviews
The Henri Hotel is a little Boutique Hotel in a very good location. The rooms, we stayed in room 44, were clean and are spacious enough for two ppl and it has an extra small room for luggage, shoes and hanging up jackets, which was very nice. The only thing I would change are things in the bathroom. In my opinion there should be a bigger shelf then the one which is there so you can put your toiletry bag whithout it falling on the floor. Also the shower glass should go all the way to the wall and should be sealed. We had a little lake on the bathroom floor after we took a shower. And maybe the light switch for the bathroom should be moved and not outside behind the door. You first have to close the door to turn on the light.
The breakfast was a nice small breakfast, but very good.
The lady with the short blond hair at the reception was very very nice and we felt welcome!
All in all a nice but short stay!

We chose this hotel because the pictures and their website looked very stylish and the hotel had got some very good reviews. We knew the neighbourhood from our previous trip to Vienna, therefore we were excited before our trip.
There used to be another hotel in this same place, but they have renovated it. They don't mention that there is a quite steep stairs from the street to the reception, so if you have problems with walking, this is an unpleasant surprise. The reception, the bar and the breakfast area are stylish, and so is the stairway and the corridors. But the room was a disappointment and nothing like in the pictures! I know the pictures are styled to look good but still... It was old and poorly painted and you can hear EVERYTHING from the corridors because of the thin walls. The bathroom was okay and renovated, the toilet was separated from the bathroom. The bed was a little bit too firm to my taste, but the pillows and blankets were good. Also the cleanliness was on the level it should be.
The one thing that lower my points from 4 stars to 3 stars was the thing with keys. The locks are old and the keys are VERY big and heavy, but the receptionist said that we can leave it to them to the storage. We did it once, but when we came back and asked for the key, there was another person working who had never saw us and the person didn't ask any ID to confirm that we were really staying in that room. How can this happen?! The person could have given the key to any any random person. This made us feel very UNSAFE so from that on we carried the key with us everywhere.
All in all, our stay was okay. I still feel that the pictures don't show the real style of the rooms and I feel like the price was quite high compared to the level of the hotel. And please, change the lock system and the keys to a more modern version to ensure the safety of your customers.

I stayed here for three nights whilst exploring the main sights of Vienna. Very nice little hotel with very friendly staff and cleanliness. My room was very good sized and with a very comfortable bed. The rooms don’t have a minibar (instead a communal bar area by reception), but mine still has the fridge which was great for cooling water and snacks. I walked to the main sights within 15 mins and a tram/bus stop is just around the corner to reach Schönbrunn and/or the train station.

We arrived late on Thursday night to the hotel. Although the street where the hotel is located, is not the greatest, nor the entrance to the actual hotel, we were received by friendly receptionist.
After check in, we went to our room.
Henri hotel is a vintage styled hotel, might look strange if you are not used to it, but facilities wise it was quite alright. Nice and confortable beds, decent bathroom.
The only to improvable aspects /critics are:
1) shower of room 305. We requested twice to the morning receptionist to fix the shower telephone as it did not allow for a fix position and kept falling down, making quite challenging to shower properly. And both time we were openly ignored without any explanation...
2) security wise. we entered quite a few times the hotel and requested our room keys. And not one time were we requested to provide any identification, proof of name, or even details to ensure we were the right guests...
Other than these 2 aspects, Henri Hotel is a decent hotel to spend a long weekend over Wien.

The Henri Hotel was very central to shopping and the museums. The staff was exceptional and we were able to check in early, which is always a plus especially when your friend will be coming later in the day. I will definitively stay here again on my return and refer friends to this lovely hotel.

Our room was lovely, the staff were charming and very helpful, it was sparkling clean, and in a great neighborhood. It's a quiet street, but just a block over is a major shopping area. There's a great traditional cafe with delicious pastries on the corner and a gasthaus on the other corner. (Lindenstrasse is blocked off at the other end for construction, but you can walk past it.) Billa (grocery store) is a block over on Mariahilferstrasse. Close by is the #49 tram, which will take you into the center to see all the museums. We had a wonderful week at the Henri.

Incredibly nice hotel with some hip design touches. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is excellent.
Would highly recommend!
The neighborhood is also great, with a lot of shops (small quirky ones but also your usual) and many restaurant and bar options.

The hotel was as good as it looked in the brochure, the staff were so friendly and helpful, all requests promptly dealt with. Simon in the bar mixes the most wonderful espresso martini. We researched this with enthusiasm so can recommend him with confidence.

It seems that this hotel has just reopened. The room was so nice; the space, the fridge, the decoration, the comfort. The friendly staff helped us plan our stay and were very accommodating. There are many nice restaurants and cafes near this quiet location.

Breakfast starts at 7 and is fabulous
Yes, you can reach ost of them by walking just a few minutes.
Hello, indeed there are steps up to the lobby from the street. If you ask at reception for assistance with your luggage the staff will be more than happy to oblige. There was air conditioning in my room and in the breakfast room. The climate at reception and in the stairwell was also comfortably cool.
