Stayed here several times before, as it was a good deal and close to the center. Last trip, the yelling on the street kept me awake all four nights. Nothing the hotel can do to control that. Take note though, a neighboring restaurant has an outdoor cafe/bar set up right below the windows. The aged mattresses were wallowed out, offering... More

Dear guest, May we take this opportunity to give you some feedback and information from our side as well. Yes we are located directly in the city center, and yes it can happen that there is a certain noise level from the street, 1/3 of our rooms are facing the Weihburggasse (front side), 2/3 of our rooms are facing the... Stayed here for two nights. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless. The staff are really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was nice. Coffee better than the tea. Centrally located. About five minutes walk to the Opera House. The only downside was the building work taking place outside our room (104) which started very early in the morning. I would stay here... More

I recently spent 4 days in Vienna and I couldn't ask for a better hotel than Kaiserin Elisabeth. It is located a short walk from The Graben and St. Stephans Cathedral off of Kartnerstrasse -- the 5th Ave of Vienna. Kaiserin Elisabeth has an understated elegance with comfortable, clean rooms, marble floors and old-world Viennese charm. Best of all, it... More

What a lovely introduction to Vienna. This hotel gave you an immediate rush of "old Vienna" in a refined manner. It is located in the hear of the city with amazing access to the major sights of importance. Our room was spacious, with high ceilings and in excellent physical condition. It felt opulent! Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
