Our stay at this hotel was perfect! To start off the hotel is extremely close to the subway, just across the street. Close by great restaurants and a charming church. When we arrived at 9:00 in the morning we expected to wait on our room, as it was quite early, but it was available. We were extremely thankful for a...

Very smick boutique hotel in the heart of the Viennese night life district...right on the canal. I took a boat trip down the Danube and it dropped home right outside the hotel! The staff were very helpful particularly the kitchen staff...they couldn't have been more obliging. Perfect location for getting around Vienna!

I was with a group of 4 couples who stayed 3 nights here. The location is perfect, close walking distance to many of the sights, and also with minutes to the U-Bahn and many restaurants. The staff was very helpful and prior to our arrival, arranged for transportation from the airport and later to the train station. The rooms all...

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in September 2016. The breakfast was EXCELLENT! But I will caution it gets pretty busy around 8-9, so it can be difficult to get fresh eggs/tea/coffee. They have an afternoon tea/coffee and cake which is a nice treat. The location was great. Easy access to the U-Bahn. Within walking distance to all sights...

The breakfast was okay. You choose the type of eggs and coffee/tea of your choice. There are some yogurt, cornflakes, fruits, breads and some cakes. The cakes, nespresso and water are available till 11pm. This is great! The breakfast ladies are absolutely friendly and welcoming. The room was a little bit disappointing to me. Small is okay. The bed and...

We stayed four nights at this hotel which is situated in easy walking distance to St Stephens square and a number of restaurants. Our well equipped room was situated at the rear of the hotel overlooking the parking area away from the busy road near the front of the building. Dear Mohammed A, We appreciate your nice compliments and recommendations for further Vienna travellers. As you wrote our Hotel Capricorno is situated very central on Schwedenplatz and you can easily reach the old town and the St. Stephan Cathedral by foot or by using the nearby subways. We do offer breakfast buffet but have no restaurant for lunch or dinner....

Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

Its central location directly at Schwedenplatz makes it possible to reach everything quickly. You can walk to St. Stephan's Cathedral in just five minutes. The underground and trams, as well as the landing stage of the Twin City Liner are right outside the door. Cars can be parked securely in the garage.
