This was my third visit, the second since refurbishment and my first in a refurbished single room. The room was quiet and very comfortable, with everything I needed for my three nights, though I did not use the minipad provided. The hotel does not have special views, and the Schwedenplatz is not the most elegant public space in Vienna but...

Fantastic location. Metro stop can be seen from balcony and only 5 minutes walk from the cathedral. The hotel rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. Good sized bathroom with large walk in shower. The hotel has an excellent breakfast selection and is served from 6.30 to 11.00. The staff are so helpful and friendly with a special mention to Deanne...

Stayed here about 7/8 years ago, loved it then and love it even more now!!! Hotel has undergone a refurbishment, and the rooms are fabulous. Great breakfast served to 11.00 a.m.....the widest choice of the freshest continental, plus eggs cooked to order. Can highly recommend the cheese omelette. Lovely addition of tea/coffee/cake/pastries in the afternoon....perfect for relaxing after a long...

I stayed at Hotel Capricorno for 2 nights and must say it was a great decision. The room was lovely with a modern decor and so is the bathroom. The breakfast is nothing elaborate but it's nice and sufficient. They arrange gluten free bread if you inform them in advance. In my case I didn't inform in advance and still...

This is a hidden gem very close to downtown Vienna. Noticeable plus point was the quality of service right from concierge to the breakfast team. Everyone was polite and friendly. the offer a good breakfast as well as afternoon tea and coffee service. What could improve is the street noise that was audible in the room and the quality of...

Dear Vijkash, We appreciate your review and thank you for informing us about your experience. Your improvement suggestion regarding the bathroom has been noticed and already passed to the team in order to control your room. Due to its central position directly at Schwedenplatz, the road can sometimes be noticed a bit louder, especially at peak times. We still hope...

Nice buffet breakfast with lots of options including hot eggs made to order, compact but clean and well designed rooms, excellent location within 5 to 10 minute walk of town center, lots of nearby restaurants, and friendly staff, all for a reasonable price. What is not to like?

The hotel is modern and beautiful. The breakfast has a bountiful selection of pastries, cereals, breads, spreads, meats, cheeses and fresh to order eggs and other hot options. Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
