The location is good, staff is helpful and breakfast is above average, but the hotel itself needs refurbishing. Single room is very small, bathroom and wc are awfully renovated. No need to add cold water beacuse hot water was just enough hot to take a shower.

We were surprised when we pulled up to the hotel. It had charm and personality. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. The room was a decent size for a European Hotel room. We just had one issue, in which the mattress on the bed was lumpy and uncomfortable, we explained the situation at the front desk and...

If i didn't know it to be true, I'm afraid I wouldn't believe we stayed in the same Hotel Regina as the previous two reviewers as we had an excellent time. Prior to our arrival I told the hotel that this was a special trip for us as it was our first wedding anniversary. When we arrived we were given...

Stayed in July and the room is just the worst I have ever seen. We had booked and paid for three nights but could only suffer to stay 2.Just left. We were touring Europe so we had luggage and the room was so small we could not fit the 2 bags in without having to take a chair out. The...

I went for this hotel due to the fact that it was in a good location, and let me first say that it is. It is right next to the underground station and within walking distance to most of the popular attractions. This made it great, if like us, where in Vienna as a stop over for the day as...

This hotel, located on the edge of the Vienna's 1st district, deserves at most three stars. The room I stayed in during a hot April 2007 was cramped, and the so-called air-conditioning was simply a fan so noisy that I had to turn it off at night. Even when on, the cooling effect was nil. The so-called bathroom was a...

Unfortunately, we were not overly impressed with the Hotel Regina. It is in a great location, right next to the beautiful Votive Church and within short walking distance to the Town hall, Berg Theater, and Parliament. We walked everywhere in Vienna, but the trams also seemed like an excellent option. However, the hotel itself leaves much to be desired. From...

I stayed two nights at the Hotel Regina, booked through hotelscentral.com. I was truly surprised to find a nice hotel in a decent location in Vienna and pay a reasonable rate (I don't think I am allowed to post the rate here). The hotel is right next to the Votice Church and is a 3-minute walk from the Schottentor U-bahn...

We visited Vienna for four days last November, it was the 3rd stop of a 4 city European tour. The Hotel Regina is on the north end of downtown (city centre) Vienna. It's a five minute walk from the start of the real shopping district, and maybe 10 minutes total walking to reach the heart of the downtown area. The...

We stayed there for 4 nights including New Years Eve 2006, and with the (gala?)dinner of 31 December mandatorily included in the room rate arrangement for that day. The rooms: very small; seemingly previously large rooms that were halved, using some wooden panels to split them in two rooms we assume. The telephone conversations in the adjacent room could be...
