Visited hotel kavalier in mid march2017- The hotel stands at 4star category but in vain 1)Hotel promises a king size bed wherein there are 2 twin beds 2) pathetic breakfast - we have stayed in 3 star hotel with much better breakfast options--a) The menu remains exactly same all days b) They offer quarter plated and mini glasses for service...

No complaints at all. In common with most budget hotels, the breakfast coffee wasn't very wonderful but there was a decent selection of food. My only reservation was the distance from the city centre. However, there is a very regular tram service from very close to the hotel - take one to the Westbahnhof railway station and get on the...

Very good location and a good price. Is good also for transit. The room and the toulet was very clean, the breakfast ok. The room wasnt very big but it was what we need for that moment. There are shops and bus station near the hotel.

With the exception of a couple of people on reception, most of the staff were very rude, at times getting quite cross at us despite our trying to iron out possible mis-communications, and we began to suspect this may be racism-related as we were a mixed group. The rooms were absolutely boiling, making it impossible for us to sleep. Opening...

We visited the hotel end of month and overall we were very satisfied. Pros: good price, very spacious rooms, clean, friendly and helpful staff, underground parking Cons: average breakfast (didn't have nutella), the water in the shower was not consistently warm, not very close to the city center

Only advantage is that it's really close to the tram station. It seemed like a transit hotel. Rooms were big but at most utilitarian. Very warm in the rooms and no possibility to turn the AC on ( we were advised to turn down the heat- it didn't help). Breakfast was really poor ( bread was stale). Parking is expensive,

This is a cute little hotel not really near the city center but very affordable. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The room was not overly large but was comfortable. Breakfast buffet is included and it is quite varied. Parking is a bit though but they do offer underground parking for a fee.

I've just asked extra pillows and they said that the hotel is full, they don't have any extra pillow. The other reason is housekeeping department is working untill 6pm. When I asked the duty manager; they said he is not in the house. At the end of the day they said NO to everything. Their breakfast was very poor. So...

Having never been to Austria before and taking the opportunity to visit friends, we booked this hotel on a recommendation from a friend. Very reasonable price, situated some 4 miles away from the city centre but having extremely good public transport links, the Kavalier is very good value for money. We upgraded to a Comfort room for an extra 30...
