Just like last time I had a good visit. Hotel is very comfortable, great customer service, and nice room. Best part is breakfast. It is very good and plenty of options to chose from. If you are on a budget, it may be a good option. If you need iron, you will need to go to an ironing room. You...

Overall, great choice as it is out of the hustle bustle, but an easy walk to the city sights. The breakfast is very generous with many dishes and even champagne for the celebratory. The wifi was very weak in my room, but good in the lobby. The staff were extremely professional and kind. The only real downside for me was...

Dear gafeliz, We read your review attentively and regret that you were not completely satisfied with your stay, mainly because oft the room location. Although all our widows are double-glazed in order to reduce the noises from outside, we can understand that especially the church bells can still be perceived. We hope you could nevertheless spend restful nights with us....

Located in walking distance to most of the interesting places in the first district in Vienna the hotel turned out to be a jewel of Austrian charm - we liked the room, we liked the service, we liked the breakfast, we liked ..... everything. Our room was furnished with original Austrian mobiliar from earlier times, a reminder of glorious former...

This property has a classic 'Austrian' feel to it that is warm, welcoming and comforting. From the mahogany Holz bedroom interior to the giant Christmas tree and gingerbread house in reception to the porter with the gigantic Austrian handlebar moustache, this is a lovely place to stay in the depths of winter during the Vienna Christmas markets and gives the...

We stayed there for three nights at the end of August. Location is walking distance (t most 20 minutes) to most points of interest. It is extremely clean, the rooms are well maintained, service is outstanding, including Air Conditioning and free WiFi and a diverse and tasty breakfast is served. The staff went out of their way to accommodate all...

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in June. My daughter and I struggled to carry our luggage up to the main reception desk, while the reception staff and concierge stood by and watched us. Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
