We thought that this hotel offered very good value for a relatively expensive city. The location is very convenient for visiting the Hofburg Palace, less so for visiting the Opera, but still within walking distance. It is also walking distance to the ferry terminal for the ferry to Bratislava. The rooms are comfortable, The staff are helpful. There is a...

We felt we had a good sized room for a reasonable price. The location was very good for sight seeing. A few blocks up the street is Cafe Central, a great place for a chocolate or pastry stop. Although the block the hotel is on was a little run down, things seem to be on the upswing. There is a...

Staff were refreshingly (genuinely) polite and extremely helpful. Breakfast was great (and I'm a fussy eater) and it was 5 minutes walk to the train station and the start of the attractions. This is the best hotel I've stayed in for a long time and fully recommend it. If people are disappointed in this hotel I'd expect they're the type...

The hotel is very well located, close to tram station (u3) and only minutes away from the main attractions. Clean like an operation room and with good service... We arrived earlier than the stated check in hour, and the staff gave us the room with no problem. breakfast is very rich.

I travelled to various cities both on work and on vacation. I would like to explore the inner city street by street - not literally. This hotel is situated 5 to 10 minutes walking distance to the most happening area in Vienna - Near the landmark - Cathedral. With family you don't feel scared to be out till late in...

Best thing about the hotel is the location. it is very convenient for some of the best sites within walking distance and is very near to a train station to get to further attractions. This is a great hotel in many regards. It's right in the heart of Vienna, within a 5-10 minute walk of many of the major sites, restaurants and amazing high end shopping. It also has a really nice breakfast buffet and modern rooms (we were in a "comfort" room 557 - great bathroom!) That said, the hotel does NOT have...

Excellent city hotel! Quiet location, but close enough to the centre, just a 5 minute walk away from all the important things to see. Friendly staff and room was very nice! The best thing however is the breakfast. So much choice, it's incredible! I have never seen such a large breakfast buffet in a city hotel! I really enjoyed this...

This hotel is reasonably priced (for Vienna), offers good, clean rooms and isn't far from the action - shops, tourist sites etc. Staff are very helpful. There is no restaurant (just an area to get a snack) but there are restaurants within easy walking distance. Breakfast offers a good selection of hot and cold dishes. I would stay there again.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
