Large size room for European standard and my room faced the river front. Quiet, comfy bed and pillows (yes 2 pillows for each person) & well maintained room. 10 minute walking to subway station U2 and a shopping mall with a big supermarket. Another smaller supermarket is only 2-3 minute walk away. The wifi is free for up to 5...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This place is nicely situated on the river with a short walk as noted by others, to the U-Bahn (subway) which is clean and runs with Austrian perfection. Who needs an uber? Rooms are immaculate and the housekeeper for my room left pretty folded towels and seeing I used creamer in my coffee, she left some extra. Front desk team...

I stayed for three nights and it was a nice experience. The staff are really friendly and solved my problem smoothly. The room was clean and all the toiletry in the bathroom. The location is also good. It only took me 10 mins to the nearest attraction, Hundertwasserhaus by car. Nice staying.

Since there is nothing between average and very good I will put "average" .The view is very nice and beautiful, the restaurant is also good. Just a bit disappointed by the room. For 400€ a night you expect something "wow" and I did not get this reaction (bathroom and bed) despite the size of the room.

Rooms on the Danube side have wonderful views overlooking the river able to watch river boats and wildlife. However rooms on the other side will overlook a busy road and railway. This hotel sacrifices a central location for views and to get to central Vienna there's a 5 minute walk to the metro then an easy trip to the centre....

I stayed for 4 nights on a business trip from the 20th-23rd April 2017. The reception staff were helpful, the views from my window of the river and the sunrise in the morning were really lovely. It was clean, and the breakfast provided on the ground floor was really very good. The executive lounge was nice a quiet and had...

Stayed here for 4 nights with family. The room was fabulous with really comfy beds and good facilities. The breakfast was as god as you get anywhere and all the staff were really friendly and efficient. Only minor downside is the free internet connection was pretty poor (was checking sites for next day not streaming films). Can pay for upgrade,...

Stayed here for 4 days with my family in February 2017. It was a great hotel and the location was no problem at all. It was a short walk to the metro station where we could then be anywhere in the city in a few minutes. Was nice to be not in the centre as it got us walking even...

Arrived late at nite Ladies at the front desk were very helpful Good view of the river 20 euros per night parking I think it's a bit too much especially if you're already a guest at the hotel Other than that can't fault it

For me the best breakfast for long time in a european hotel. Even the restaurant is overcrouded, we had an amazing time. Service is very good, but not fast enough or let's say not enough stuff. The pancake maschine is amazing, try it!!!

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
