Very closed to the Vienna Messe (10 minutes walking), basic but clean and comfy room (notice that there isn't much "toiletry" provided by the hotel, so bring your own shampoos and things like these), very rich and yummy breakfast. There's a Restaurant in the hotel open until 10:30 pm.

I normally always prebook a hotel. I found this hotel online one morning and it was near where I was. Instead of booking it online, I just turned up. They gave me the hotel room at the online price and I was checked-in within half hour. The staff where all really nice and couldn't be more helpful. They pointed me...

The highlight is definitely the location, considering a city such as Vienna. It's not at a walking distance from the centre, but there are two metro stops (including two different lines) and a train stop that takes you and brings you directly from the airport, which is quite practical. Also the quality/price relation was really good. Breakfast is quite expensive...

I have stayed many times in this Ibis hotel since it was opened nearly twenty years ago. I prefer the quiet location and good connections on metro line #1 to both directions as well as nearby railway staion Praterstern. Standard Ibis quality.

From the first moment when they've cancelled our bookings because of some misunderstanding in the booking department, we should have looked for a different hotel. Left the hotel when they entered our room because our dog was scared and had made some noise. Then have accused us of treating our dogs like filth and started screaming at us at the...

I like very much the principle behind Ibis: small, clean, functional, inexpensive. Staff is friendly, breakfast is good. A few improvements are needed, however. Most hotels provide a way to make coffee in the room. Some way to boil water and a packet of instant coffee would be appreciated. The big problem, however, was the internet. The free version disappeared...

Average business hotel close to Prater; Vienna International Centre, Austria Center, and the historic center of Vienna are easily accessible by the U1 subway. The hotel is functional and clean - a typical Ibis place; I found the staff friendly and helpful.

Hotel is good and close to Tube station. Tube station is just 400 meters away from the hotel. This hotel has a good connectivity to city centre and main Railway station - Hauptbahnhof. Rooms are comfortable. Value for money. Hotel staff is friendly.

The guy at check in wasn't very helpful when we asked for directions to Palaces and museums but the lady in the morning was much better and gave us precise directions. Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
