My husband and I spent three nights at the Hotel Sacher Wein in Vienna. Marvelous attentive service, fantastic location and even a pillow menu! When we checked in and were asked the reason for our visit, I mentioned we were celebrating our 15th anniversary. Imagine our delight after a long day of sightseeing when there was a knock at the...

Vienna is a wonderfully elegant and sophisticated city and there is no better place to stay in Vienna than fhe Sacher. We were upgraded to very spacious and well appointed room on the upper floor with spectacular views of the Opera House across the street. The entire staff including door men, porters, bar and restaurant staff, and the concierges were...

The hotel is just wonderful, the staff is super friendly and so kind! The rooms are quite big with a fantastic view to the opera building. The location is just awesome, right next to a big shopping street and just 5 min. away from st. Stephans church. We come back!

My wife and I just stayed at the Sacher Wien. What can one say about one of the most wonderful properties ever. It was like staying in a museum.Old world charm, first class service, Sacher Tortes in your room upon arrival, a perfect location and the most amazing breakfast ever. I could keep on going but I think my point...

I have stayed in quite a few remarkable hotels around the world, and Sacher Wien has made an impeccable impression. In my opinion, the staff is like a family, most probably run by a dedicated management. It will be a pleasure to return as soon as possible. A little story, that proves the high standard of the hotel: A gentle...

From the moment we got out of the taxi to the time we checked out, we felt like royalty!! The service was excellent. The hotel was like staying in a museum. Our room was a tad small, but we spent so little time in it it did not matter. The bathroom was large, great shower and a lot of closet...

The Sacher still leads when it comes to provide great Hospitality with a personal touch from the always present doormen, to the bellmen and all Associates in the Marble Room where a great Buffet is spread out, one Waiter really impressed daily: Max he remebers little things and surprises with special recommendation - with this positive attitude it shows great...

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
