A wonderful couple of days in Vienna. Rooms and facilities are fab, the torte ridiculously delicious, and the staff really helpful. The room was glorious. Breakfast on day one was a joy....oh my waistcoat buttons! Plates cleared in a heartbeat, wonderfully attentive staff. Breakfast on day two was slightly less so, less attentive staff, plates not cleared, but food still...

Even among 5 star hotels, the hotel stands out. The location is outstanding, the hotel is beautiful, the food is delicious and the staff are very attentive to every detail. The concierge is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel special. We enjoyed the champagne breakfast. We appreciated the opportunity to get a snack...

Just spent three nights as this beautiful hotel. The rooms and the service are nothing short of amazing, very friendly, helpful staff. Surely the best hotel in Vienna, location is superb, a short walk to the opera house where you can catch the hop on, hop off bus to see the sights. Vienna is very clean, no litter anywhere. Had...

Stayed at this hotel as part of a tour group. It is by far the most elegant hotel at which I have ever stayed. The room was very large and luxurious, the lobby and restaurants were beautiful and the staff extremely attentive. Also had a sumptuos breakfast and a nice lunch there. Food and service were first class. The location...

Aptly named, the Grand Hotel Wien is a very fitting tribute to the stately beauty and elegance you find everywhere in Vienna. We loved our stay. The staff was proper, cordial, and very helpful. Our third floor suite was spacious with tall ceilings and lovely furnishings. It faced the street and was two rooms from the elevators but we heard...

The hotel is one of the best in Vienna. The location is superb, and the staff are great and helpful. There's a grocery beside the hotel, subway, tram.. and many attractions that can be visited by walking.

Stayed here for 4 nights, and we found this to be the best "old style" luxury we have enjoyed. Very attentive and helpful staff make it a joy to stay in this glorious hotel. We only had breakfasts to eat in the hotel but these were great, so much choice and quality, top service. We stayed in a Superior Room,...

Very good value for a buffet lunch which includes home-made soup, an array of salads, fresh sushi, cheese board, canapés and much more. It is quick and delicious. The only problem were staff - not so friendly we would expect in a 5-star hotel. But ok we could live with that. Older people sometimes behave like that.

Dear "sandraramonezzy", thank you very much for your feedback regarding your visit at our restaurant "Grand Brasserie". Our stay at the Grand Hotel Wien was lovely. The room was spacious and beautiful, and the staff was at our every beck and call. The breakfast buffet is delicious, albeit a bit expensive - be sure to avoid the mistake we made of thinking it was included in our room! Within five minutes walking of main attractions such as...

Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
