Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping
heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The
weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium
Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six
remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with
a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna
and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the
area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with

We stayed in a triple room at this hotel for 4 nights last week. The room was very nice and spacious and had an amazing view since we were on the 9th floor. The breakfast at the hotel was also very good, featuring many hot and cold dishes including a waffle station. The hotel is

We stayed for two nights. The hotel has large rooms for the price. Beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The wifi worked well and there were plenty of outlets so as to charge up devices. Friendly staff. Would stay here again.

Not a world class hotel, but a decent one - and that's what a traveler would expect for this price, and they fully deliver it. Clean, pleasantly arranged rooms. Good breakfast table. A decent choice of satellite TV channels, also for non-German speaker. Not too noisy, even though

Hi, How to get to the hotel from Wien Hbf? I planning to take the U-Bahn. Is there a direct train to the hotel or do I need to change train? Thanks
Why are you in Vienna Hbf? If coming from the airport, best to take the direct bus to the "Westbahnhof" from the airport. The hotel is in walking distance from the Westbahnhof. If you have to be at Hbf then yes the underground is your quickest way (you will have to change trains).

How can I get to the hotel from airport by public transits? If I take airport shuttle, where is the airport shuttle stop? What's the name of the airport shuttle ? If I take train, is there any direct train to Wien Westbahnhof railway station?
You can use train to the city center ie Wienmitte/Landstrasse station ( regular train S7 or CAT) and then Metro -U3 line to Westbahnhof station. From there you have to walk to the hotel about 100 meters. You have useful links on youtube how to get from airport and google maps are pretty accurate as well.

Hello. I intend to book few days in Ibis Wien Mariahilf. Someone recomanded this hotel for the parking. Is there a paid parking or is free for the guests of your hotel?
I would contact hotel. We did not park a car. I checked and it says public & private indoor parking paid. It does not identify the rate. Good luck!
