There are many good things about this hotel - convenient location, tasteful decoration, good size rooms and comfortable beds, excellect breakfast. Yet with a bit of extra effort this place could be even better. Light in the bathroom is dim, there is no way to make it brighter; sink faucet makes a lot of noise unless one turns the water...

Situated near Karlplatz metro station and trams. Easy to walk to places or use the transport systems. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Our room had a large bathroom and a good sized bedroom with enough storage space for clothes. The room overlooked the main road, so could not open the windows due to rumbling trams. But that was...

Das Trieste is a beautiful stylish hotel. The building inside is understated elegance and very well laid out. We had a junior suite on the 4th floor which was really nice however the head height windows (had to tip toe to see the street) were a put off. On a few levels the lack of attention to detail was annoying...

Unfortunately my wallet was stolen shortly before I visited the hotel at the bus stop in Bratislava, Slovakia. Thankfully, the reception welcomed me very kindly. Suite 1 (I guess it was a business suite) was very fabulous with a lovely bathroom. I preferred bathroom amenities in this hotel. There was a private table in front of the bedroom in this...

From the moment we stepped in the hotel we were happy with our choice of hotel. The floral displays in the vases were beautiful. We were upgraded to a junior suite. Extremely comfortable. Comfortable furniture and good lighting so I could read. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but did have afternoon tea (...

Comfortable, stylish rooms, a delicious breakfast menu together with courteous, helpful staff made this a memorable visit to an historic city rich in art and culture. Location is within walking distance of the pick up point for the tourist bus tours and public transport. The rooms overlooking the road can be noisy until around midnight so best to request one...

Good location to explore the hofburg/ opera area- 5mins walk from the opera house. Well connected to the ubahn station Karlsplatz ( for connection to the Hauptbanhof). We got the flixbus from Bratislava airport to the opera house for €9.50. The hotel was comfortable and spotless. Lovely molton brown goodies in the bathroom. Fridge, Apple TV- only a couple of...

The original stables with their vaulted ceilings were converted to lounges, suitesand conference rooms with distinctive flair. The awarded restaurant Collio spoils its guests with northitalian cuisine. The mediterranean courtyard is one of the busy city´s cherished quiet spots.
