Excellent hotel, very friendly staff and the central location has everything. The hotel breakfast is also very good. I recommend this hotel for Vienna. The market nearby has good fish restaurants as well.

My partner and I stayed here for our New Years break. We had previously stayed in the Mercure City but wanted to be more central which this hotel definitely is! Upon arrival we were checked into a rather small room which was clearly a smoking room as it stank of cigarettes! So we went down to reception, who were incredibly...

Very good location and cool staff ready to help. Very good breakfast. Still some areas for improvement- corridors and rooms need urgent renovation. Good is that bathroom has been done not long ago. When you are hungry then you have hundrets of great options Just three minutes away on the market.

Excellent location, near to a central subway station and to the main attractions and stores of Vienna. Unfortunately, the internet is very slow, so it's a bad idea to trust in hotel's wi-fi to do things which demand a good connection.

This small hotel is off the beaten track, but is very close to the heart of Vienna and is very near transportation which can take you to any of the outlying areas quickly and easily! The hotel is located within walking distance from Vienna's city center, near the subway and all major attractions. The hotel staff is attentive and friendly, ready to assist anytime of the day. Staying in Mariahilf

Neighbourhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
