Hotel has very good localisation, we just used public transport twice in 5 days. Breakfast was much better than it would expected in an European hotel. Rooms do not have AC or minibar. Some rooms are very small and can be very warm inside. All staff were very nice.

This was the perfect setting for a short visit to Vienna focused on visiting museum collections that showcased art from the Vienna Secession. The style of the Hotel Kaerntnerhof complimented our interest in this particular era and made for a beautiful and restful stay in the city. The exquisite 2013 renovation tastefully and comfortably adapted old world charm to today's...

While booking Karntnerhof, I was apprehensive that the rooms will be too small (we booked a medium double rom) and upkeep would be not 100%. But I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel is a little cup-de-sac, 10 mins walk from Stephanplatz metro station and 5 mins from Schewedenplatz metro station. The room was large and elegant with a small but...

Wonderful hotel! It is ideally located, close to Stephansdom and the metro station. The rooms are spacious, spotless and, along with the common amenities, decorated with exquisite taste. The staff was very helpful. We were absolutely delighted!

The hotel has a great location, it is near the metro station and also it is in the heart of the old city center. The breakfast is good, the rooms are charming and clean, the only thing that wasn't great is that it has no air conditioning. Although it is in the center of the city, it is a quiet...

We only spent one night in this beautiful boutique hotel. It was a little tricky to find as it's situated on a no through road, however, once there we were very impressed by the standard of the rooms we had (my husband and I and our 2 teenage daughters). The beds and pillows were the most comfortable of all that...

First of all the location of the hotel is very good, every place that must be seen is very close. The stuff is very kind and helpfull. Especially we have to give thanks to the stuff Mrs. Emine because she is very kind and does her job very well. It was a silent hotel, a great place to have a...

I stayed in Kärntnerhof in the end of May. Both my Mother and I had separate single rooms. The hotel offers great location, good breakfast, very nice interior and facilities like a roof terrace. The staff is also very friendly and service minded. But you should know that the acoustics between the rooms are not good. You hear your neighbors...

Good choice for 1-2 nights city trip. Perfect location, close to everything, but still very quiet, nicely decorated, but simple rooms, basic bathrooms, wooden floors, what I liked, all in a typical viennese "Zinshaus" . Weak sides: very average breakfast and poor quality of duvet and pillows - what a shame, otherwise it would be a really perfect stay.

I was torn between using 3 and 4 stars for this hotel. Overall, we rather enjoyed our stay here, even though some things made us wish we booked again at hotel Austria, which is just around the corner (also 3 star with a very similar price). These were in particular - no minibar in the room, which was an issue...
