I read a few of the 1 and 2 star reviews and I can tell you, the people who posted less than great reviews of this hotel were either having a bad day or just entitled. The area is a little industrial but it's two blocks from the Belvedere Palace and 2 blocks from the main Vienna train station. It's convenient. The hotel itself is super sleek and modern, just what you'd expect from an Andaz, but at a much less expensive rate than what we are used to in the USA. I'm a Hyatt "Explorist" member, which is really not that high, and they upgraded us to a top floor room with a decent view. The room itself is incredible. Clean, modern and very functional. They really thought of everything. I read that some people were taken aback by the shared toilet/shower door. Come on people, this is Europe. Quit being so uptight and enjoy the functionality. We've stayed in two other hotels with this design. I think it's it's really cool. I highly recommend this place. It deserves 5 stars.…
I have stayed at Andaz Vienna many times previously and have always been impressed with the property, the staff and the rooms. It is a modern place with a warm but up-to-date atmosphere. I checked in this time for a long weekend, expecting another pleasant but uneventful stay, and ended up being at the hotel for thirteen days due to a Coronavirus infection. For the ten days of official quarantine I did not leave my room at all. This might sound like a nightmare experience for many, but not when you are stranded at Andaz Vienna. As a regular guest, they had upgraded me to a beautiful 70qm suite with a park view. The larger room was certainly advantage given how much time I had to spend in it. What really made the quarantine stay bearable, and often pleasant, was the response of the staff. They had an entire system in place so that I stayed as comfortable as possible while being isolated. They responded to every request of mine cheerfully and efficiently, from providing cleaning supplies, grocery deliveries, fresh towels and amenities, to helping me get tested so that I could eventually come home. Everything was done contactless to protect others and so that I did not feel I was putting anyone at risk. Whenever I called for something, the first question was not "may I help you," but "how are you feeling?" Little things like this make a big difference. When I finally checked out, it was as if the staff considered me a family member who had come to stay and was now leaving. The funcionality, decor, appointments, lighting and fixtures of my suite were all functional and elegant, and the quality of the room service food excellent. Andaz Vienna is also extremely convenient to the main train station, public transport and is a stone's through from Belvedere Palace and its beautiful garden. There is a reason I have made this my go-to hotel in Vienna for several years, and their above-and-beyond performance for this unusual stay reconfirms why.…
Perfect hotel - except for location. The hotel needs to invest in a shuttle bus service to central Vienna each 30 mins or each hour. Not the best tourist( especially first timer to Vienna) hotel to stay at.
Very professional and friendly staff, amazing breakfast buffet, large and very comfortable rooms, with a very nice atmosphere. Excellent hotel, good value for money in this category. Situated near the main station with very easy access to the public transport system. Walking distance from Belvedere park.
I recently stayed at this hotel for a conference. From the moment of check in at 8am to my departure it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully presented, the rooms are spectacular, the food was superb and the staff could not have been more helpful. I will definitely be back for a pleasure trip.
I went to Andaz Am Belvedere for the very first time and I can definitely recommend this place to everyone! Great location, delicious food and friendly staff especially Tomas from Slovakia and restaurant staff!
I used the standard service, without any additional services. The room was prepared earlier than the check-in start which was very nice. Everyone was nice and helpful. Encouraged to have a snack before departure, around 4 p.m. It was a real surprise.
We had a pleasant experience and spent a short break in the Andaz Vienna Hotel celebrating our second anniversary. Our King Size room with a Belvedere view was a delightful surprise. Everyone from the front-of-house desk team, breakfast service and Aurora roof bar experience was mind-blowing. Thank you for organising a delicious chocolate cake as a surprise to celebrate our anniversary with a handwritten personal message very thoughtful. Tomas, you are so professional with the breakfast service; it makes us want to get up early! Big thanks to Ben for our time in the roof bar Aurora, when there was a hectic period as unexpected weather conditions became unavailable to have a quick drink. Ben stepped in, and his excellent customer service skills made our stay even more adorable. Thank you again, all Andaz employees who make our stay memorable. We will be back soon!…
Helpful staff from the moment I arrived (early) and storing bags was no issue..short walk to Belvedere Castle slightly longer to war museum. Had no shortage of access to either a taxi or an Uber. It’s not right in the centre of town - which obviously has its pros and cons, however accessibility to get to a show or out of town centre in a hurry was easy at any point on the Ringstrasse. Breakfast staff were excellent and attentive - never skipped a beat. Ready to assist.
I was charged 100 euro as a deposit on my prepaid card which now i will never get back because it’s not possible to reverse transactions on a prepaid card. In addition, i wasn’t told about the special rate for parkings due to being a guest and i had top pay the full amount of 40 euro a day which is a rip off!!
