Prima facie, VCA doesn't appeal as you need a pass code to enter the building and then climb a small flight of stairs to get to the elevator. But our room was fairly large ,clean with a complete full kitchen. We were met by Barbara & Alfred who explained with maps our location and transport options for local sightseeing, dining etc,...

We are a family of five with kids from 6-11 years old. VCA was perfect for us and we would not hesitate staying again when we next visit Vienna. Alfred met us when we arrived (need to get a passcode for the front door) with a smile, sparkling wine and chocolates. Although first impressions upon stepping into VCA may not...

The apartment was excelent. Big, spacius, lightness, clean and with a complete full kitchen. All it decorated tastefully and modern. A few meters from a subway station, which leaves you in all major points of turist attractions. Barbara and Alfred were very helpful to us, always found available for any concerns we had. I would not hesitate for a second...

I booked saperately (non-refundable) three nights + two nights / two adults + two children. At the beginning a woman (The wife) welcomed me nicely and explained everything that I need in terms of the room or tourist information about Vienna. The TV has many options in the room and it's really great, my children enjoyed a lot. This appartment...

Whats not to love? Will rebook again and strongly recommended. Much better than many hotels in vienna!!!! 5 stars all the way. The apartment was fitted with two flat screen TVs, apple tv, our own router and a fully functional kitchen. Three ways to prepare coffee in the morning (including Nespresso) Everything was working perfectly well. Our flat was quiet...

My wife and I have rented from the Krammers every time we have come to Vienna over the past ten or more years. The apartments on the Schottenring are superb: spacious and clean, and offering a good many modern touches, from the kitchen appliances, including a Nespresso machine, to the AppleTV. Wifi is included as is laundry service. Our apartment...

We stayed in Schottenring 33 in apartment number 7 I think it was..... it was perfect for 4 of us to stay and so much better than staying in 2 separate hotel rooms. My partner and I were traveling from Dubai with my sister and my elderly mother from Australia so we needed somewhere with enough space for us all...

We have stayed in a good number of apartments but this is the only one (apartment 8?) that actually looked better than the pictures on their site! Furniture and equipment were top-notch, and location, while not "tourist-ground- zero" like the stephansdom area, is very convenient as there is a U-bahn station (with tram stops in front) around 100 meters away...

Staying in Serviten Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
Serviten Quarter
The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighbourhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighbourhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
