Nice hotel with great amenities in every direction. Steps from the Metro Station (Magenta Line), across the street from the convention facilities, close to parks and some retail. Lobby was under construction but should be nice and shiny when complete in March 2017. Good breakfast area and small bar. Very helpful staff.

Rooms are clean and staff are friendly...hotel is under construction so abit noisy at times....it is very close to the subway line Kireau..which is good because there are not many restaurants or shops nearby...breakfast is good and standard European and North American fare. Would gladly stay again

Although it is not in the centre of the city; with metro it is very easy to go wherever you want. Room was comfortable, breakfast was enough, hotel staff were very friendly. I recommend to chose this hotel for your Wien visit.

I stayed at this hotel for a week in July 2016. It is at a great location, steps from the subway and is a modern construction. The rooms are clean, staff is friendly, the hotel is modern and has great amenities. It is by a little stream, which makes a great outdoor location for an evening drink and dinner. The...

This well kept Marriott property is just a block from a subway line that runs to all the main attractions in Vienna and easily connects to all the other lines. Trains run frequently, and you can go all the way from your room to the Museumsquartier in as little as 15 minutes. On the other side of the subway station,...

This hotel is on par with a much higher class than a Courtyard. The staff here is what I've experienced at a JW or Ritz brand. The price is very reasonable and the rooms are comfortable. They have a full bar and a full restaurant on site and we ate there one night when the weather was bad. The food...

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
