The location of the chalet is excellent but found the hosts to be not the friendliest. We stayed in the apartment which was basic and could do with some kitchen utensils so you could use the microwave and have a drink... Found the apartment cold and really wanted to come back to a cosy room. best bits... location. this place...

Poor toilet facilities(health and saftey issues) toilet area too small to use shower and toilet. Wet floor and hot and cold tap keep moving with you turned around in the shower. No facility to wash your hands. This was in the room. breakfast was poor and no bed clothes or towels changed.

On arrival, we were made feel unwelcome and like we were inconveniencing our host. Rather than a warm and friendly welcome one might expect from this type of environment, we were lectured with a list of rules. The host didn't offer to assist us with our luggage which led to two other guests helping us with the stairs. As three...

We endeavour to be warm and friendly to all of our guests, that is particularly those that show us the same consideration. Those that do not, like yourself, are still treated with due respect and care. During your stay you chose to speak to the travel agency that booked your room rather than bring any issues up with the management...

This is a real gem. Very close to the main lift and ski school area. Short 5 minute walk to town. Apres bar across the road. Great food in the chalet. Excellent hosts. Very clean rooms. Separate, secure room for ski gear. Nice big fire place for wines/beers after a day on the slopes

This was our second visit, previously visit was in 2016 when run by Crystal staff. In 2016 we were greeted with warm and friendly Crystal staff, this time we were welcomed by please wipe your feet on the rug as the floor has just cost me 5k.... Our room was not ready so we were offered to put our suitcases...

I stayed in the Karlberger with three friends on a skiing trip booked via Crystal Ski. The Karlberger's best asset is its location-a very very short walk to the central gondola/ski school meet up point and the town. The Karlberger is basic but warm and comfortable with nice hot showers.Breakfast was perfect-eggs at an extra cost but otherwise all the...

The Karlberger's biggest assets, without a shadow of a doubt, is it's location in the resort as well as the husband and wife team who now run it, Richard & Yvonne. Kitzbuhel is an expensive resort and you should be prepared for some "unusual" price versus what you actually get if you dine out, which makes staying at the Karlberger...

I booked a family Ski Holiday through Crystal Ski at Chalet Karlberger, for myself wife and two daughters 19yrs and Annie 12yrs. The main reason for booking was the price and we paid £1475 bed and breakfast for 4 people and 2 rooms, a bargain compared to the rest of Kitzbuhel, so I was at first unsure what to expect....

This chalet is more like being a guest in someone's home. It's a great atmosphere inside and you get to know the staff Richard and Yvonne really well along with the other guests. We got dropped off by the transfer coach at the main gondola car park and the chalet is a short walk up the hill. The gondola and...

I didn't know what to expect before we arrived, the location and price sold it to us when booking the holiday. We was dropped by the coach at the main ski lift in kitzbuhel and had a short walk up the hill to the chalet. We was surprised how close the lift was to the chalet (around 100m) and couldn't...
