I have visited a handful of hotels in Kitzbuhel and they often have a typical local decoration and spirit which is great. Q Maria Theresa added a modern twist to it. The staff is super nice and friendly as often in Austria. The rooms are large, clean and relatively well equiped. The only negative would be the sound isolation which...

The hotel is as beautiful on the inside as it is on the outside Large spacious lounge area with a large log fire. All of the staff were friendly and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. I stayed in room 302 on the third floor. The room was very spacious, clean, light and airy. There is a spa in...

On the whole this hotel was ideal for my 3 night stay. It is well located and not too far to walk to the Hahnenkam lift although we did rent lockers for skis and boots near the lift. The rooms were spacious and exceptionally clean, lovely spa area, atmospheric bar area and the food was ok. Most of the staff...

The Maria Theresia hotel is an old establishment at the heart of Kitzbuhel and not too far from the Hannenkamm ski lifts. As such ,its location is pretty good. However the age is evident in the rather large but spartan rooms, devoid of A 4* hotel "bare necessities", e.g. no fridge, no safe, no jaccuzi and a small TV with...

Stayed here for a week in January when the ski racing was in town. Excellent public spaces - bar and lounge very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. Some bedrooms have been renovated, ours was a little tired but it was clean and comfortable. Hotel a short walk to old historic centre of Kitzbuhel and you can also walk...

Stayed at Maria Theresia for a week on a ski trip with another couple. The lobby area is very funky, leather, cow hides and big battered sofas in front of the fire. We were both upgraded to rooms which were huge. We were half board. The breakfast buffet had a good amount of choice. The fresh carrot and apple juice...

Close to the centre of the city, short walk to the Hannenkamm ski lift, the Maria Theresia helps to round out the ski holiday. The staff are extremely friendly, helpful and multi-lingual. The food is very high quality and the building is decorated and furnished with flair and style. Try to get a room with a view of the mountains.

Just spent a week snowboarding in Kitzbühel and stay here. The staff were great, the food was good (although they could have catered a little better for gluten free) and the bar was great for chilling in. The location was perfect for the ski lifts and the heated boot room was a bonus. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for...

Great sized room, wonderful breakfast and a very convenient location! There is a free parking lot within a 10 minute walk from the hotel also. The ski lifts are very close to the hotel as well as the old town. We loved staying at this hotel for our first, and definitely not last, visit to Kitzbuhel!

Standard room litte wear out though. Anyways I can highly recommend staying there. Due the weather conditions during our stay hitting the slopes was not possible. With friendly advice by reception personnel we found many interesting things to do and our holiday turned to be a success after all. Standard of food served at breakfast and restaurant higher than average...
