This was our second stay at Haus Reichl--one of the motivations to return to Salzburg was actually to see Franziska again and stay at her lovely B&B. Her hospitality is top-notch and her B&B is still as comfortable, clean and wonderful as ever. She makes a great breakfast in the mornings and is available to answer any questions you may... More

Well we went there on our last days of our hollidays, and we were amazed how well we were received. We felt we arrived home. The rooms are very good and the people are very very nice, always wanting to help us. The location is amazing, very close to Salzburg. A best Place to be!!

We found Haus Reichl B&B based on Rick Steve's guidebook. We visited Salzburg in April 2010, we almost missed this opportunity due to the volcanic eruption & flight cancellations that happened just a few days before our trip. The trip was so memorable and staying at Haus Riechl home made it even more precious. The B&B felt like our home... More

Hosts: Super helpful and pleasant/friendly hosts, couldn’t do more for us. Location: it was great- close enough to the city centre to be there within 8 mins drive, also there is a bus nearby if you don’t have a car. Room: Good size room and good size ensuite, all clean and tidy if a little outdated. Bed was comfortable and... More

We have just got home after a week in Austria, staying at the Haus Reichl. Can I fault this B&B?, NO, we could not ask for more, for what it costs to stay here, you can't ask for more. This is our second time staying here, and it was as good as we remembered. The room was clean and comfortable,... More

We wanted to stay here three nights, but, when we booked before leaving home, Franziska Reichl, our hostess, only had two nights available. She was kind enough to make a recommendation for the other night. We did have a car, and it was nice to have free parking and be in a country setting with beautiful views all around. Our... More

Haus Reichl is a lovely B&B situated in a country setting 10 minutes by car from the old city of Salzburg. From the B&B one can look out at the mountains and also admire the beautiful flowers tended by Mrs. Reichl. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. What makes this B&B special is Mrs. Reichl. She... More

We stayed here for three nights in August. As others have noted, it is a very comfortable B&B located about 10-15 minutes by bus from the city center of Salzburg. It's an easy 8-10 walk from the closest bus stop. And compared to hotel room prices in Salzburg, this place is very affordable. Our impressions: - Our room (#3, upstairs)... More

Haus Reichl is situated just off Moostrasse which is a long road which leads into Salzburg. Although you have to catch a bus to get into the centre, it is very easy to do and doesn't take very long, also the buses run every 20 minutes. It would be nice to stay in the centre of Salzburg, but we felt... More

Enjoyed our stay very much. A short bus trip into town, which we did, but we also had a car, making trips to farther-flung attractions much easier. The host was great and very flexible. The only downsides to the place are that it is right next to an airport (but it's small and the flights don't come terribly often) and... More
