Hotel Villa Carlton was certainly a highlight of our trip to Salzburg. The room was incredibly spacious—with a great view on the third floor—and the hotel staff was extremely accommodating when we asked multiple questions at once. While the hotel's location is on the opposite side of the river as Old Town, we found ourselves looking forward to our walks...

We stayed here for our friends birthday as a group of 4 and cannot speak highly enough of the hotel. We arrived early and left our luggage before we went off to explore the city. Check in was very good, we had lots of questions to ask and also booked onto the SOM tour at the same time. Hotel was...

We spent a week end in Salzburg and booked this hotel. It is 15 minutes walk from the railway station and just a few steps from the embankment. The hotel looks like an old villa - very elegant with "home like" atmoshpere inside. The style is nice and the room was rather big for a European hotel. I forgot my...

This hotel was a real find. I have stayed in many city hotels but I can truly say I found this to meet all my needs. It is very clean, room 211 was very quiet with a large shower room. Breakfast was continental but one still had quite a good choice. The staff, without exception, could not have been more friendly or...

This hotel is located about 10-15 minutes walking distance from the old city center, very close to Mirabel Palace and Congress Center. It is also close to the river and you can walk along it. In a sunny day, the views will be very nice. Our room was very large, having actually a part as a bedroom and another one...

After a long day of walking for hours, it was such a pleasure to find this little jewel. The front desk clerk gave us tips for dinner that led to our all over best experience of the trip!! The decor of hotel is fun and charming. The comfort level was tops.

We arrived in the evening at 21.30 in the hotel and I had the pleasant surprise when I arrived in the hotel reception, is decorated in a way that I have not seen anyway surprising. What I liked about this hotel is something I could not explain, something that resonated with my overall expectations. It is a clean hotel with...

I really enjoyed having this hotel as a home base for my first visit to Salzburg. It is a 5 min walk from the Congress center, 10 min walk from the train station and easy to access tourist attractions and restaurants on both sides of the river. My room was very spacious, plenty of lighting, an inviting design and all...

Nice clean hotel, with very friendly staff. We were in room 206 which has a lovely balcony. Although this was under a covering of snow. This room is opposite lift, although we never heard the lift during our stay. I think the room was recently renovated as it looked brand new and was spotless, lovely shower. The hotel is a...
