We had a great stay during a weekend visit to Salzberg. The hotel is outside of the city center, but is close to public transportation and only about a 15 minute leisurely walk along the river to the old town. The rooms were a little dated, but very clean. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival and the owner took...

This was our first stop on our 18 day vacation in Europe. We booked it because of the location (Close to trains, city center, etc) but we received more than that. Andy is the owner's son, he was very helpful with dinner recommendations and places to go. Breakfasts were delicious, and we left each morning well informed as to where...

Very charming, quaint, homey, comfortable inn. Yes, it is old and yes, the ac did not seem to work but that did not bother us. Our guide books warned us not to trust hotel recommendations in this area, but we did not find this to be the case at this quiet, lovely spot in a great location within blocks of...

Stopped at this hotel for 4 superb nights and feel so very lucky that I booked it. From the moment we walked in the friendly atmosphere appeared to be there in abundance. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, they were patiently replied my question, and provide me some suggestion. Therefore I got a half day tour arrange by them....

The hotel is old. And you can see it. If you prefer a modern hotel, don't go here. But if it's old, it doesn't mean it is bad. We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was simply amazing. Very helpful, always ready to make your stay better and very friendly. The room was clean and nice. The breakfast was...

This is a charming hotel near Salzburg train station. The staff were very friendly and really made us feel welcome. The breakfast was very good. Our only slight criticism was that the air-conditioning was not working. Be careful about going there during very hot weather.

We had a great stay at the Hohenstauffen Hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. They had several wonderful suggestions to help us get the real Salzburg experience (some of which you would not find mentioned in a travel guide for the city). There is easy access (~10 min) to the old city center via a beautiful walking...
