Booked two rooms for a city break and as requested, were given a lovely little twin room for our teenage girls, and a room on the same floor for us. View from the rooms was of a pedestrianised street if you look down, and the top of the Cathedral if you look up. Taxi delivered us from the airport to...

Charming, authentic hotel right in the old town. Close to the cathedral, mozart's house, the museums and the castle and ravine overlooking the old town. Very helpful reception staff. Rooms not that big but an expected size for such an old, atmospheric building. Breakfast room and upstairs lounge tasteful and interesting. Mini bar in the room well stocked and unusually...

We had a delightful experience at Hotel Elefant! The quiet, yet central location was in the most charming part of town; shopping, restaurants and museums are just steps away. Better yet, many of the traditional pastry and chocolate shops are within a short radius. While the hotel, rooms and baths have been modernized, much of the old charm remains....wavy glass...

We really enjoyed our stay. In the heart of the city. We walked to all the places we wanted to visit. Breakfasts were good. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay there again. I'd recommend it to friends.

I arranged this hotel for a group of people and apparently the rooms differ a lot. The one I got was tiny and headed the street in front of the hotel, this street is supposed to be for pedestrians only. However, when the lorry for the waste is coming 5.50 in the morning and takes 20 minutes to collect the...

This was our first visit to Salzburg and our first stay at the Hotel Elefant and I can say we will be happy to return one day! I travelled with my husband, staying in a Double room, also with my parents in law (Double room) and sister in law (Superior single room). We arrived at the hotel via taxi, and...

We stayed two nights while attending my cousin's wedding just across the border in Einring, Germany. A gorgeous city, and this hotel has an amazing location. Check in was easy (easier since I speak fluent German) and quick. Checkout was likewise very easy, and we were able to leave our luggage in the lobby while we finished our sightseeing before...

We absolutely loved this hotel! Situated in the heart of old town Salzburg, the hotel offered a variety of amenities. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, unbelievably quiet with double-paned windows, and the bathroom was bright and modern with a large tub. There is a convenience store just around the corner which has an ample supply of beer, wine, liquor,...

I stayed in a double room for single use for 3 nights then for double use for 2 nights. Location: A short walk away from everything but not in a noisy area (at least not in February) Amenities: Room was perfectly warm. Lotion, shower gel/shampoo, slippers and sewing kit were provided. Bed was really comfy! Room was large enough. Bathroom...

Friendly greeting, most comfortable room, good breakfast, pleasant staff. The hotel has a nice restaurant. Central location for all the town has to offer. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Perfect.
