I very much enjoyed my four-night stay at the Hotel Rosenvilla. Being located in a quiet residential neighborhood, you can see how locals actually live, apart from the tourist-oriented city center. The location's drawbacks are modest: the walk to the Old Town is about 15-20 minutes, which could feel a bit long after a day of walking. And there aren't...

We loved our stay. Excellent breakfast. The room was European quaint. Comfortable and the staff very professional acoomodating and helpful. It was winter so the garden was not in bloom but looked like a nice place to enjoy in the summer. Would stay again.

My friend and I had two quite different sized rooms: both lovely, clean, and each with a balcony, but spring for a slightly more expensive room if you want a little more space. Breakfast was great: beautifully presented, fresh and delicious. The staff was very charming and friendly. The place has free (but limited) parking, and you can either take...

Our visit to the Rosenvilla was the first, but, certainly not the last. The breakfast was served by lovely ladies on a comfortable, relaxing deck. Our rooms were immaculate, although, a bit warm due to the unusually hot summer. Parking can be minimal, so, expect to park at a nearby restaurant, otherwise, we highly recommend this hotel. The staff are...

We arrived at the Salzburg train station and took a taxi to Hotel Rosenvilla (about 10-15 Euros). Nice thing about Salzburg is they have traffic lanes dedicated to buses/taxis so they can get around when the rest of the traffic is stopped! Our room was ready when we arrived... but we were hesitant to accept it as it was on...

just upon arrival it was clear to us that the selection was perfect. We just wish we had more days to spend there. The location is perfect as it allows a walk to the city center wich allows you to enjoy the setting even more.

Comfortable hotel just outside the old town. Walk into Salzburg took about 15-20 minutes but we wound up using the busses to get us around to save time. The #7 stops near the hotel. Breakfast was really good with a lot of warm and cold choices, eggs made to order, and good selection of breads and pastries. Service was warm...

Stayed here again for two nights with friends. Level of quality remains high. Service could not have been better. Nataly and Stephanie most memorable. Both almost became friends. Rooms were crisp and spotlessly clean. Very hot weather the weekend we visited and hotel lacked A/C but fans were provided. Breakfast was excellent and the variety of foods could not be...
