I've stayed here a few times. I like it but it is not my favourite, ''for the money". On my last visit, my room was enormous, with high ceilings and large windows, including one bay, with a bath tub in it but I thought it was being refurbished/decorated. I subsequently realised there was a decorative theme of plastered and exposed...

Great hotel and fairly central to the main streets. Room was very stylish and a good size but would benefit from a drawer or two. There was a good breakfast selection. Only reason for not getting 5 stars is the lack of aircon functionality.

Very easy to find coming from the tram station. A very central location. It is directly at the river and across the Franziskaner Church. The check-in was friendly and quick. The room was on the 3rd floor with view of the church. The room was odd with the wash basin near the entrance and the shower beside the bed. At...

Place is centrally located with a parking garage at the back. Real great location. Has history. Service is superb especially for breakfast. Rooms are nice but their linen and towels need a refresh. Torn towels. Also the aircon is iffy. If possible Pl take the rooms facing the river. They r the best.

I loved this hotel, old but refurbished with modern, stylish decor. It's in a great location on the river and next door to the Kunsthaus. Rooms were clean and well thought out, my only complaint was that there were no drawers in the room so for those staying longer not enough space to unpack a suitcase but for me more...

Bravo to this hotel. Trully was amazed. A grand place, found out it is a historic landmark and greatly appreciated the artistic and humourous touches everywhere. The feel is artistic, rustic and cozy at the same time. Sumptuous white interiors, murals, design details everywhere. We booked the junior suite and I would just stay there forever if I could. Huge...

We really loved Wiesler. It's at a great location in Graz. At the river bank and next door to famous Kunsthaus Graz. Wiesler was an old school grand hotel which was refurbished but it kept old grand features. Rooms have high ceilings and big windows which is becoming quite a rarity in hotels today. Very clean and beds big and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel Wiesler, in the heart of Graz, has abandoned splendour and star ratings – but not the good old days. Fresh details such as a traditional shave from our female barber, a Turkish bath or military bikes for hire round off the whole experience. At the ‘Speisesaal’ restaurant (open all day), the day begins with breakfast beneath street art covering an entire wall and is finished off with international dishes and soul vinyl music. Only a few minutes’ walk from Schloßberg and Kunsthaus, the Wiesler is the perfect base for a city tour. And those who still have to work will find free WiFi throughout the hotel. ‘Re-interpreted luxury’ feels comfortingly light at Hotel Wiesler – for all those who expect more than just a good bed and central location. ... more   less
