We stayed 5 days in this family hotel for our visit to the Troodos area. The staff did everything to help us and make it to our liking. They gave us tips for walks and excursions.
The family room was for us 3 fairly spacious, more spacious than is usually the case. The bathroom was neat. We had a spacious balcony and looked a bit over the mountains.
Unfortunately, the rooms were noisy. There were a lot of old people staying who talked rather loud and had the TV very loud. We couldn't sleep because of that.
We also heard a lot from the terrace of the restaurant where our balcony was upstairs. That's a little less nice with crowds.
Behind the hotel is a garden with sunbeds and seating areas where you can sit quietly.
There is a public car park near the hotel. There is usually space here, although it was really looking for a place at the weekend (July).
The room was neatly cleaned daily by the hardworking, Nepalese employee who was working day and night in the hotel.
Breakfast is a small buffet with 2 fruit lemonades, coffee (solvent/device-moderate) and hot water/tea. There is Greek yogurt, oatmeal and (chocolate) cereal, fresh fruit and something sweet (cake), boiled eggs and toast. Fresh bread was unfortunately not there; that was very unfortunate. The only topping at the buffet was jars of chocolate spread.
The Owner is also (good) and nice cook. At breakfast he provides all kinds of freshly prepared, warm egg dishes of your choice (delicious), accompanied by ham/cheese/bacon and tomato and cucumber. With it you get a toast-bread, butter and jam.
The cook also provides lunches and dinners for guests (upon request). We had dinner there once. The salmon trout we ate there was flavorful and beautiful and well prepared.
We look back with pleasure on our stay.

Small family run hotel owners and staff were all very friendly and helpful. Hotel is nice and clean with comfortable beds. All rooms are on the first floor, there is no lift but there is a stair chair lift for the elderly. Breakfast and meals are good, we had the trout which was delicious came with frozen mixed veg but this is only one star so cannot really complain. TV, kettle and hairdryer supplied. On the first morning had a problem with shower which staff very quickly fixed.
Two nights spent here very relaxed and with nice views across the valley. Would happily stay here again.

Central but quiet location. Parking near the hotel.
The service is very good and always attentive.
The shower and especially the sink are very small. Small breakfast buffet, but you can always order more (eggs, sausage, cheese, ...). Only the coffee could be better.
Wi-Fi is fast enough.

The hotel is the family owned business and has 9 rooms.
The rooms are very basic, no hair dryers, no minibar, no coffee tea facilities.
The rooms are spacious as well as ground floor outside verandas quite opposite to the shower cabin. It is a mission to spread soap over the body without hitting the walls of the cabin.
The TV channels are only in Greek, there is an option to connect to Netflix and other apps.
The breakfast is very basic: 2 fried eggs with ham and cheese and tomato and cucumber one peace each, toasted bread with butter and jam. The highlight was the food that tasted fresh - seasonal fruits.
Our major drawback was that 2 out of 3 nights we could not sleep as four other rooms were occupied by the group of young people.
We did not complain the first night when 12 or more of them returned from the dinner at 1 am and could not settle until 3 am
until another guest went out and started shouting at them.
Turned out that she tried to contact the owners but nobody was available.
The second night when the young people again arrived at 1 am we contacted the owners to tell them that this is our second night without sleep.
The bottom line response was: “ They are just playing cards.”
May be there are people who do not mind when young drunk people are playing cards at 2 am in one meter from their heads.
As to us we packed our stuff and left.

I got Covid and we let the hotel know, and the manager told me that they would not cancel our reservation and it’s my fault I have Covid. This hotel and manager clearly do not care about the safety of their guests. The manager would rather I come to the hotel and spread Covid than cancel our reservation and refund our money.

The manager told me directly that I should’ve worn a mask and it’s my fault I had Covid, and I should pay my debts…this place is horrible. We would’ve gladly booked another time and we were excited about visiting, but we will never stay at this place and I suggest you ask them what their ethics are when it comes to the health and safety of their guests. They are getting free money from our family because we are going through a health crisis…that according to them is our fault for some reason. Shameful.

Extremely rude staff! Was coming here for dinner and parked on the road (public space). Before even getting out of the car I was told by a waiter I could not park there as it was only for hotel guests (which isn’t true). I didn’t even get to enter the place.

A pleasant rural hotel in the village of Platres in the middle of the Troodos mountains. We chose Platres after reading reviews that said that the village of Troodos is quite dead at night. Platres on the other hand has many bars and restaurants and is ideal for those wanting to wander out for something to eat and drink. See our review on the Skylight restaurant.

The Kallithea Inn has large rooms with large beds. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had a balcony looking out at the mountains. Very clean and comfortable and good value for the price. Shower was adequate but there is a shortage of hot water in the mornings. So get up early! Our one complaint is that there was no kettle in the room to make a hot drink. Breakfast was good with a choice of continental and cooked items.

We would stay again.

Spotlessly clean family run hotel, quaint and beautifully decorated with antiques. It reminds of beautiful times that are hard to find but often reminisce about. The owner, Mr. Michalis, very friendly and helpful, always had a nice chat for everyone. The kitchen serves amazing dishes, fresh and delicious! Breakfast is basic, but plentiful!
The rooms are very spacious and clean. We enjoyed every minute of our stay!
I left the most important thing for the end! Our dog also had a great time since the hotel is dog friendly!!

I visited Kallithea Inn for a getaway with some friends and family. We had a great time - the staff at the hotel was always ready to help, food was fresh and delicious and the rooms very clean, with very comfortable beds.
On top of that, the location is perfect - 5 minutes from the center.
Definitely recommend!

Clean room, a decent bed and most of all, amazing hospitality.

A family run business, with everyone being genuine and very helpful about every aspect of your stay. We wanted to go hiking and got a load of tips of places to go and see.

Excellent local food is served too!
