I stayed here with my family of four only to discover I had made a huge mistake in choosing this hotel. First of all do not be misled by the four start rating this hotel has. It shouldn’t even have a one star. The rooms are dated and in need of a full renovation just like the rest of the...

Smart hotel, decent 25m pool and pool area, car parking, situated just across the road from a small beach. A walk into town offers you numerous dining out opportunities, from Greek, Indian, Chinese and Italian restaurants to name a few, in addition to the cafes and bars. You do run the gauntlet of bar staff selling their wares as you...

Great location opposite some nice beaches and a short walk down to Pafos Harbour where there are a multitude of restaurants and bars. A little bit tired, especially when you compare with local 5 star hotels such as Alex the great etc but you get what you pay for and this is value for money and a good place to...

My husband and I have just returned from the Aloe Hotel and we were pleasantly surprised after reading some of the negative reviews. We found the hotel clean and bright apart from the bar area which needed refurbished. The bedroom we had was clean, bright and modern, the bed linen was changed regularly and the towels were changed daily. I...

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Aloe. I have read comments on this hotel & provide the following opinion. Yes the pool towels are worn & need replacing but you don't need to take a towel that will take up space in your case. Some people had brand new towels not sure how they got them. The towels...

We have just returned from three weeks at the above hotel, it was our second visit, OK it was a special offer 2 weeks half board and one week B & B free, however the standard of the food has dramatically dropped since last year. The choice is still there but the food is less than average. The whole hotel...

I fully endorse other comments re noise from adjoining property and the 'threadbare' linen etc. Reception was frosty and patronising. Despite booking a single and a twin room, both with balcony and bath, we were allocated a twin with no balcony and a single with only a shower! Everything seemed to attract an extra charge - safety deposit box (acceptable),...

The Aloe is clean and comfortable with helpful staff. It is well placed close to the amenities of Paphos, although without sea frontage, and its prices are reasonable. However, the hotel is looking tired and it could do with refurbishment. Surprisingly, some bathroom and pool towels are threadbare and frayed, and there is wear around the pools which in the...

Stayed here in June for a few nights and again in September. No real complaints - hotel is reasonably priced, chose bed and breakfast as I like to eat out in Paphos in the evening. The good points for this hotel is that it is centrally located, and is only a short 10 minute walk to the harbour, rooms are...

Pool area is the only fantastic thing that deserves a 4 star, this hotel is in desperate need of a refurbishment and in my opinion not a 4 star a very low 3 I think. The breakfast was awful, the rooms were old and dirty and drab, the bathroom was hot as no ac in there and cramped, the shower...
