A hotel in a great location that needs bedrooms totally renovated and new bathrooms.it has two great swimming pools and a nice outside area. The food is not great. The staff in general are helpful. There is a building site across the road so don't pay extra like me for a sea view room.my family paid the normal rate and got the two...

Sea view rooms are good but also noisy with the traffic and late revellers at night. The indoor pool which is advertised as heated is not, it is actually stone cold. This is a major drawback for me as I love swimming. The breakfast and lunch restaurant and the cocktail bar are well run and the staff very professional. The...

Two apples in the room (although they were not fresh). It must have been a good hotel 40 years ago but nothing has changed since then. No renovation with the major disadvantage of a very old mattresses. The shower was broken. A CRT TV of around 14 - 15 inches. The mini bar is locked. No free WiFi. We asked...

Just returned from a lovely week @ the Aloe . We read some poor reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised, yes it's a tired but old hotel in a great location. Staff were lovely, we had a suite with sea view but unfortunately there's building work opposite and the traffic noise on the road was bad. But the breakfast was...

We arrived late last wed evening. We are here on B&B for 14days. We are pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel is after reading negative feedback before we came. Yes, it could do with an update, but the breakfast is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable. We have fresh towels everytime we put them in the bath, a...

There is no way that this hotel is a 4 star. The hotel is desperately in need of being refurbished, the first room I was allocated had an overpowering smell of cigarette smoke. The second room I was shown to was much better. The carpet in the corridors 'rolled' when you pushed your suitcase along them and was obviously old...

My wife and me were visiting the Aloe for the fourth time. On this occasion we were accompanied for three weeks by my sister in law and partner. We all found the rooms to be of a good size, kept very clean by excellent housemaids. The food was excellent with plenty choices at both breakfast and dinner. The hotel staff...

The staff are so friendly and helpful but the food really lets this Hotel down. The rooms are comfy but dated, however there was plenty of hot water. Don't request a front sea view as the road is noisy and they are building opposite destroying the sea view. We had a side sea view halfway back and looked out over...

Booked holiday at aloe hotel and then checked on t/a and thought what have we done(I know got things wrong way round) On arrival was pleasantly surprised, hotel clean and tidy,a little tired I admit. Reviews criticized food but we found food at breakfast and dinner really good, plenty of variety and just couldn't fault it. Pools and outside area again...
