Hotel is in a great location still the building is very very old. The rooms are looking like a flash back 20 years ago, the bed in particular was quite unconfortable and there was only one (too soft) pillow. Breakfast choice was also quite poor

Dear Guest, I thank you for your feed back about the beds and the pillows. I will personnally look after these two points that are for us very important. Concerning breakfast it is a traditionnal breakfast buffet with no fuss. Best regards, Carlo Cravat

Honestly, one of the most charming hotels at which we have stayed; at any given moment my husband and I expected Monsieur Gustav to appear, making certain that everything was happening properly. Yes, the hotel has faded elegance. The lobby is exceptional, and we idled away a few minutes before heading to dinner in the cozy setting, enjoying the exceptional...

Dear Guest, thank you for this very nice description. The only thing that is missing at Cravat is the wonderful groom. I could be Mr Gustav. I will have a close look to the lightning and the self moving beds. Thank you for these nice descriptions you made about my hotel and I like it very much as it reflects...

Great location. Parking is tricky. Two hours at a time across the street or expensive in the city lot behind. Cool bar - time warp to 1965. It seems like this was a grand hotel but they haven't put a lot of money into it in the last 30 years. Public areas are nice than the rooms though the rooms...

Dear Guest, thank you for the time you took to do your comments. Yes, time has stopped in our hotel. We are a vintage hotel but on purpose. We love to keep this a little bit different then all the modern hotels. Good point concerning the staff, would have been helpful to me to know who was not so great....

I read the reviews for this hotel and they really set expectations for a very unique experience. The main asset of the hotel is it's location, right on the edge of the main plaza and the many bridges that link other areas of the city. There was an odd attention to some detail. Like a special cover for the 'extra...

We only spent one night in the hotel, but we enjoyed it's charm. There were boot polishers on most floors and that was a nice touch. The room was dated but quaint, included a small balcony and the bathroom was really huge! There was a small fridge in the room, which is always nice to have a few cold beverages...

Great stay here! Rooms are comfy, clean and quiet, a great deep bath with plenty of hot water, nice little touches. The staff are friendly and helpful, really accommodating. The hotel has such nice character-a nice change from lots of white-washed standard modern places you often get. I would highly recommend. Great central location for everything you might want to...

Nice hotel on an excellent location. Rooms are old fashioned and need an upgrade. When you sleep with the window open there is a lot of noise from the street. Parking garage is on walking distance but is very expensive.

Dear Guest, thank you for your information about the parking prices, that shows that we are in a large city where parking is always expensive. Concerning the rooms, update is done on a regular base without changing the style. Best regards, Carlo Cravat

My girlfriend and I were staying in Luxembourg for 4 days and had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful hotel. The period decor really adds to your experience staying here and makes it stand out against more modern hotels. The bar is just such a lovely yet neglected place to have a drink in front of the fire place...

Dear guest, thank you for your nice comments about my hotel and my barman. Yes, there are still hotels that charge for Wifi but we are working on a dual solution and I hope to have it soon implemented. Best regards and looking forward to greeting you soon again at the Grand Hotel Cravat. Carlo Cravat

We had a very nice and pleasant stay with professional and friendly staff in the cosy and personal hotel. The hotel is also well located in the city centre. Felt welcome in the hotel from the beginning.

A historical Hotel but: 1) You have to pay to use the internet (welcome to 2005). No WiFi and really expensive. 2) The Hotel had a weird smell!! 3) the room was really bad. Small room/bed and really expensive.
