Stayed here as a solo traveller. Check in was easy and the staff very pleasant and helpful. Got a single room on the first floor with a view of the castle. The room was quiet big for a single by European standards, the bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. I didn't eat at the hotel so...

We stayed here just to have some drinks. The location is nice and has a great scenery, however I was not impressed with the staff. The waitress did not look entirely happy with her job and that showed off in the way she waited tables. Although we had more time, we left after one drink.

Our room at Hotel Victor Hugo was clean and spacious and the beds were great! We had a whirlpool tub in the bathroom and a table and chairs by the big windows. With the restaurant downstairs and the delicious breakfast served in the mornings, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We usually visit Vianden at least once a year, and often stay here. We'll probably look elsewhere at our next visit. We sat in the hotel reception for 15 minutes before we managed to check in. Despite asking at least 4 times no one came in. Most of the staff didn't even acknowledge we were there, and for our visit...

The Victor Hugo is situated in the centre of Vianden by the bridge over the river. We had a room at the back, which we chose because it was more peaceful - river views are all very well, but the road junction could be a bit noisy. The staff were very helpful and directed us to free car parking a...

We chose the hotel because of its name, and we did not regret it! Located in the middle of this charming city, the room has spectacular view. Just looked out off the window could fill us with happiness. Not so sure that we be there too early or the room has been done too late. My sister room still in...
