Stayed here for 2 nights during recent Faroe's road trip. We missed the correct road for parking ; heading for the 'hotel' sign, but got it second time around. There is ample parking spaces. Once inside we were welcomed with complimentary coffee and cake whilst lighting was fixed in our room. This was well worth the wait, we were very...

Our room was spacious and so was the bathroom. There are not many options for hotels in Klaksvik and this one is clean and OK for a night. The walls are a bit thin as well as the towels. Breakfast is fine and served from 7 to 11. Ask for a room that faces the harbor ours didn't and the...

I thought it would be a little more modern, but it was a bit outdated. Whereas the size of the rooms was pretty decent, the beds were excesively soft and the bathroom was a little less than ok, with a big window but no working curtains and neighbours not too far away, I felt uncomfortable using it at night. Breakfast...

Grand hotel set in the middle of a very quiet town. Rooms are big with comfortable bed. Yes it is a little aged but is as good as anywhere else we stayed in Faroe Islands Good breakfast served. Prices are probably a little bit high We had a great view over the harbour

This is a basic hotel that has well sized bedrooms and a nice bathroom fitted with a large window. Room furniture is IKEA type. The bed is good. The shower is fitted with just a shower curtain. So after use of the shower, part of the bathroom will be wet. The hotel has no elevator and thus you have to...

A nice and clean hotel, with big rooms and bathrooms. Nice breakfast with lots of different breads, cheese, egg, different kinds of ham, juices, cereals, etc. Close to the city center, a couple of restaurants and food markets at walking distance.

This hotel is conveniently placed for exploring Klaksvík on foot and an easy distance to the ferry jetty for trips to Kalsoy. We had a double room overlooking the water and had great views. The room was fairly spacious with good en-suite facilities, if somewhat basic otherwise. However, it provided all we needed for our 3 night stay. We had...

The hotel looms over the town and is easy to find; parking is also easy. Rooms are clean but basic, those at the front of the building have good views over the harbour. Breakfasts are the only meals served and are quite good. The hotel is within easy walking of the few dining options possible in the town.

I remember staying in hotels like the Klaksvik Hotel years ago when I was young and traveling Europe. It is a no nonsense kind of a place. Boxy outside with the word "Hotel" painted on it, there is no sign identifying it as the Klaksvik Hotel. There is ample parking. The receptionist was friendly but did not have insightful advice...

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights. This was definitely an interesting place. The room was large and clean, but for those with disabilities - there is no elevator. There wasn't always a front desk person, but there were always people hanging out in the common areas - although I don't think they were guests. I was under...

“Ask for a room overlooking the water for a good view. There isn't a lift so ask for a ground floor room if stairs are an issue for you.”
