Without a doubt, the location could hardly be better, right on the harbour front but above the level of the sea with a fine view across to the other side of the Grand Harbour. Rooms over the harbour are a must. Access to the historic city centre is via a longish flight of shallow steps, which can be managed (slowly)...

I always mix this hotel up with the Phonetician. Haven't been in it but you couldn't get a more wonderful place to stay at Valletta The Grand Harbour is where the Queen and Prince Philip said their goodbyes to their beloved Malta. Malta will enchant you. If you let it. And go to the magical places on the island that...

Very quaint, old Valletta setting. Sitting in a corner overlooking the harbour and the Three City's. Very friendly warm welcome st reception. Check in took two minutes. Also in reception is the bar and down half a level the breakfast area. We didn't eat there, although it was included, just because we wanted to be out enjoying the sun, but...

Really excellent hotel, with a warm welcome and all amenities. We were very pleased with our room - top floor, spacious corner room with a fabulous view of the Grand Harbour. All the staff were helpful and gracious. Free wifi.

Lovely clean and well kept hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Superb location just two minutes walk from the cathedral. Nice breakfast and a lovely roof terrace that would've been a great spot if it hadn't been so windy, but that's just the season.

Great location. Good staff. Clean but gloomy rooms. We had a triple and it was just OK - medium size and rather small bathroom. No fridge!!?? Breakfast area is not too cheerful and food is just OK. Still, it was OK for a 2 night stay.

Dear educated_traveller49, Thank you for your feedback. We understand this situation very well. Clearly, a standard room has been booked and a Grand Harbour view room was expected. What we do not understand is, expecting a fridge!!?? In a two star hotel! Since one of our prime intentions is to please the most, a fridge may soon be added in...

Stayed in room 601 looking straight over the grand harbour. Breakfast was very good with a very good choice. Very near all the sights of Valleta and near transport links. All the staff very friendly and helpful.

We wanted to stay in Valletta as every trip we wanted to do by local transport started from there, and this hotel is really well placed. It is a short walk from the bus station, and some rooms have harbour views. Our room looked out over the side street, but there is a lovely roof terrace with great views. The...

This hotel couldn't have been in a better location for our weekend in Valletta. A gorgeous view over the harbour, clean rooms with everything you need, and a great breakfast. The staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Don't miss out on having a bottle of wine on the roof top terrace in the evening, the view is sensational.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were great and very helpful. The room very clean and tidy and plenty big enough for a few days, but the view, well wow, fourth floor looking out to The fort opposite across the harbour, from our lovely enclosed balcony, great for February. Breakfast just what was needed. Parking is free outside...
