We spent one night in Valletta before heading on to St Julians and for exploring the city this hotel was very well located. Rooms were comfortable and quirky and we personally didn't find the ringing of the bells a problem. Our room faced on to the side street though so maybe these rooms are quieter. There are a few issues...

This was going to be a four star review. The family room is lovely and spacious, the location is great (really central, and personally I didn't really notice the bells), and the back stairs that other reviewers have complained about were very popular with our family, since it meant you didn't have to exit through the busy restaurant. The one...

Starting with the bad point. If you value a good night's -DONG- sleep, then -BONG-, you had better stay further -BONG- away from the cathedral right opposite -DONG- this hotel. - DONG. The bells rang all through the night and I didn't sleep a wink. BONG. Other than that, this quirky set of rooms above a busy cafe has character...

The guesthouse is special and has a great view on Saint John's Cathedral. On the top floor you can admire a unique view on the harbor of Valletta! Our room on the 3rd floor had a balcony and was spacious and clean. From our balcony we had a view on the square and we could see the daily market. For...

"-" - You are going to hear the bells a lot, even in the night. - Breakfast was the worst ever, the only plus in it was the orange fresh. There was no menu, they asked me what do I like to eat. - There is a pizzeria at the 1st floor, you can imagine the smell in the hotel....

Located above a restaurant, one would think the hotel is dumpy. What a surprise to discover that the room was spacious and gorgeous. The hotel is packed with fascinating objects from Malta's past, the room gorgeously decorated. For the price, the room was huge, plenty of room to store away one's stuff. Though attached to a restaurant, the breakfast choices...

Hotel itself is special. A few rooms do not have windows (no view) and feel uncomfortable. However the hotel location is excellent. It's near to everywhere. Most hotel staffs are friendly (not all of them...) and one lady, her name is Annabel, is exceptional. She has such a warm heart and willing to help hotel guests

From the very start: The entrance to accommodation is through the restaurant and the smell was not that delicious. Check in and out happens right there at the bar. Staff was not very friendly, caring or interested so it felt almost rude. As we arrived too early and our room was still occupied we asked to leave our baggage till...

Location excellent. Air conditioning and plumbing were noisy. In fact my whole stay was noisy--- woken up repeatedly at night by the strange noises from plumbing & air con; also from other guests crashing around and shouting. The showers I think are really quite dangerous. In the early evening when many guests are showering the water temperature can flip between...

Great location, center at the city, near St. John Cathedral. In my opinion, it is not an hotel, a restaurant with rooms. There is no lobby or room services, you cannot find anybody after 11.00 p.m. We booked for a room for our honeymoon and asked for a room with view of front street, at least with light. They gave...
