Booked Fortina Spa 5star today via Trivago then onto Hotel Beds. Hotel voucher arrived for Fortina Hotel 4 star. Phone Spa in Malta. They tell us room described can only be for Fortina 4star! Phoned Hotel Beds. Waiting for an explanation. What a let down.

We have just returned from a week st this hotel. We have been there several times and have enjoyed the location, ambience and food. However we will not choose to stay here ever again for several reasons. The quality of the food is poor whereas it has been very good. The empty trays were not refilled, some hot meat dishes...

This hotel has good locations near restaurants, shops and few minutes from bus stops and ferry boat to Valletta. The room was clean and bathroom are good. Our room had a garden view .The staff is friendly and really helpful. The hotel has spa facilities and the pools are good.

It may be a 4 star hotel but the food quality is disappointing and lacks imagination. Breakfast offered watery yogurt, slices of apples floating in water, melon the only fresh fruit - no bananas , grapes , berries and no dried fruit apart from raisins. No croissants either.Evening meal ok but very samey.Staff seemed unhappy and atmosphere was subdued. From...

Tired and in need of tlc, for what we paid with mercury holidays it was good value, all we wanted was a base and a sea view, managed to quickly sort out the free upgrade back to the sea view room we wanted, housekeeping were excellent, as were restaurant and bar staff, we didn't dine around as it required some...

We had a Superior Sea View room on the 6th floor. It was large, with plenty of storage space and lots of hangers. The floor to ceiling windows gave us a fantastic view across the habour to Valletta. Beautiful! BUT - the hand basin in the bathroom was cracked and the toilet seat was loose. They asked us to conserve...

Stayed for 7 nights from 30/03/17. Had sea view room on 2nd floor, very small balcony. Breakfast at buffet restaurant good. Evening meals at buffet restaurant not so good. Although carvery roast on most evenings vegetables were odd choices and not hot. Went to 3 dine around restaurants which were ok. Drinks very expensive at hotel, but would go back...

average 4 star hotel associated to the 5 star Fortina Spa. The room was what I call a basic. Should have been upgraded. Dont think that happened. Food in the main restaurant was variable in quality. Great if you like Rabbit. Choice of 5 other restaurants on the Dine Around policy. Highly recommend the Thai restaurant.

Arrived at the start of the Easter holidays. Both outdoor swimming pools were closed with the largest being painted. The smallest didn't look massively clean and although it was full of water it wasn't open. Besides that the pools are situated in a large paved area which is next to the sea....which is separated by a fence which consists of...

Just returned from my third visit to this fabulous hotel. You simply cannot get a better view of Valetta across the harbour than a seaview at this hotel. Picture postcard it definitely is. We booked a seaview this time and were generously upgraded to a deluxe suite. The dine around restaurants make for a very varied meal choice but the...
