Our second visit and again made to feel very welcome by Charles, Anna and the rest. Nice clean and quiet rooms, great breakfast, and really useful to have the help and advice of the owners.

This is a very special B&B and we can recommend it highly. All arrangements went smoothly and Charles, Anna and family were very gracious hosts. It was a delight to come back each afternoon after sightseeing excursions to enjoy the sparkling pool.

Yes, it is a lovely place to stay, quiet and comfortable, with kind and helpful hosts. We booked directly with them. Sorry, can't remember exact cost, but as it was one of the bigger rooms it must have been the higher cost as mentioned in previous answer - to your first post. Charles arranged private transfers for us from our previous accommodation in Marsaxlokk, and then on to our next which was in Valletta - this was a great help, and not expensive. You can get pretty much everywhere by the local buses very easily, and again Charles and Anna are experts at which bus for which destination, and have worthwhile suggestions for things to do and see. As said above, you can easily walk into Rabat from the B&B, and through Rabat into Mdina, but if you don't want to walk the local bus stop is barely 5 minutes from the accommodation. (Of course to go to Gozo you will need a bus to the ferry port. We went there for a day while staying in Valletta and followed Charles's excellent suggestion of using the Hop-on-Hop-off sightseeing bus on Gozo - we had a great day.) Our visit to Malta was in winter so we didn't use the Maple Farm swimming pool, but as most days were sunny and fine we were able to do a lot of walking, though it was often windy. P.S. we bought bus passes, which from memory gave 12 trips for 15euro; check details when you are there - there was a place to buy these at the Rabat bus interchange opposite the entrance to Mdina, and also at the big bus interchange right outside the walls of Valletta at its main entrance. I assume there are other outlets for them as well; anyway they are really handy to use instead of finding loose change for every trip. There might also be passes for a week - it's worth checking. We hope you enjoy your holiday, ours was wonderful!
