I first stayed at this hotel 30 years ago. It is a family run establishment. It has a history. The building itself is very old and the roof was used in ww2 by the RAF as an observation post.It is perfectly situated in Saqqajja Square Rabat one minutes walk from the main entrance gates of fabulous Mdina Walled city with its quaint...

Stopped in for a late lunch with my wife after a touring the City of Mdina. Friendly staff, had their speciality pizza and it was amazing. The Mdina Chardonnay went over big with my wife while I enjoyed a draft beer which was very nice. A good, relaxing time spent well here and the prices were modest.

The people including the managers, housekeeping and waiting staff could not have been more friendly or helpful and went out of there way to make sure we had what we needed (much appreciated as we were travelling with a 3 month old). This guesthouse is fantastically located just on the edge of the walled city of Mdina. The guesthouse amenities are simple but perfectly adequate. The shower was good (though bathroom is very small) and breakfast good. Staff delightful.

My partner and myself stopped here before heading in to Mdina's historic streets. We were able to choose from a vast selection of different teas although they didn't seem to have Assam for some reason. The restaurant seemed quite sociable and it was nice to watch the hustle and bustle going on outside. Great wifi as well.

The hosts, Alex and Joanna, go out of their way to make you feel at home in this unpretentious but very comfortable guesthouse. It's got a great location, just outside of beautiful Mdina, the food is good and the rooms are newly refurbished and well appointed. Thoroughly recommended.

We organised a bachelorette here. Tge decorations were complex and time consuming. The owners were gracious enough to let us start setting up a day before. They were understanding and helpful. On tge night the food was plentiful and the service impeccable. I would strongly recommend this place.
