This was our third stay at the Calypso and we enjoyed it just as much as the previous times. As other reviews have mentioned, the staff (especially Frank, Manuel, Connie and Chris) are so friendly and want to make sure you have a great time at their hotel and on the island. We found the room very well equipped and...

My wife and I just returned from a two week stay at the Calypso Hotel, Marsalforn, Gozo and enjoyed it very much. We had previously spent a holiday on Malta but this time decided to try the delights of the smaller island, Gozo, which we were led to believe was rather less commercialized and this indeed proved to be the...

just returned from a lovely 10 night half board stay with the family (Husband and two girls 14 and 12). The rooms were very clean and although the rooms are a little dated the Calypso Hotel in Marsalforn, Gozo is an ideal base for exploring the island. All the staff were very pleasant and trying their hardest to please the...

Overall staff was excellent, especially Frank, chris and manuell. How ever several times at 1 & 2 o'clock when we returned to the hotel early in the morning Paul the night man was snoring on several occasions and I found him very grumpy. Other then that it was a fantastic stay and very friendly

We decided to go to Gozo, as we had visited there before whilst on holiday in Malta. On our visit there before to Marsalforn we loved the relaxed pace of life and the ambience of the restuarants, and there are plenty to choose from. On arrival at the hotel we were met by the receptionist who was polite in a...

Nice location in the Marsalforn Bay. Rooftop pool is good alternative for nearby city beach. Very good service, and friendly personnel. Rooms are simple, but nice, and very clean. It has pretty view from bay side, land side not that well - You'll look into narrow street with lots of kitchens of local restaurants - at the evening gets very...

Just returned from this hotel with my partner and 3 year old son. We have stayed in gozo 10+ times. Fabulous hotel, spotlessly clean, maid cleaned & made up room every day. Hotel was busy but this did not affect sleep barely any noise from the corridors / adjoining rooms. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Room included a fridge...

It's important when visiting Gozo to be aware that this island is not going to be for you if you like busy, highly developed, all-action holidays - there's no Club "18-30" about the place. If you prefer laid back, slightly off-the-beaten track, unpolished places (as I do), then you might just fall in love with the feel of Gozo. The...

Returning to the holiday island of Gozo after so many years we arrived to find things remain gloriously as unchanged and chilled. Hotel calypso remains a wonderful place to unwind. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms although not the most modern are spotlessly clean. Breakfast offers something for everyone and is plentiful. Roof top pool and bar a great place...
