We decided to go to Gozo, as we had visited there before whilst on holiday in Malta. On our visit there before to Marsalforn we loved the relaxed pace of life and the ambience of the restuarants, and there are plenty to choose from. On arrival at the hotel we were met by the receptionist who was polite in a...

Nice location in the Marsalforn Bay. Rooftop pool is good alternative for nearby city beach. Very good service, and friendly personnel. Rooms are simple, but nice, and very clean. It has pretty view from bay side, land side not that well - You'll look into narrow street with lots of kitchens of local restaurants - at the evening gets very...

Just returned from this hotel with my partner and 3 year old son. We have stayed in gozo 10+ times. Fabulous hotel, spotlessly clean, maid cleaned & made up room every day. Hotel was busy but this did not affect sleep barely any noise from the corridors / adjoining rooms. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Room included a fridge...

It's important when visiting Gozo to be aware that this island is not going to be for you if you like busy, highly developed, all-action holidays - there's no Club "18-30" about the place. If you prefer laid back, slightly off-the-beaten track, unpolished places (as I do), then you might just fall in love with the feel of Gozo. The...

Returning to the holiday island of Gozo after so many years we arrived to find things remain gloriously as unchanged and chilled. Hotel calypso remains a wonderful place to unwind. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms although not the most modern are spotlessly clean. Breakfast offers something for everyone and is plentiful. Roof top pool and bar a great place...

My wife and I spent a week at Marsalforn on the Isle of Gozo the island its self really doesn’t have much to offer. Marsalforn is a small harbour town which is quite pretty but very small; the small beach is very stony but offers safe bathing. There are many restaurants around the small bay some of which were good...

Fantastic location overlooking Marsalforn Bay. It is only a short walk to the numerous restaurants and bars. The staff are very friendly and nothing is "too much trouble." My wife has mobility problems and there are mobility friendly ramps to the hotel entrance and roof top pool area. However, the front entrance has a revolving door and the two pull...

We enjoyed a wonderful 7 night stay at the Calypso Hotel in June. After a very noisy stay on Malta the peace and quiet of Marsalforn and the hotel were a welcome relief! Our room was on the top floor with views over the bay and sea. It was slightly old fashioned but spotlessly clean with a well appointed bathroom...

I have been visiting Gozo since 1997 and apart from the refurbishment years in the early 2000s have always stayed at the Hotel Calypso. What a pleasure to see it returning to its' former glory after a series of mediocre managers. Sammy RAPA is just what this hotel needed, a motivator who is not afraid to get his hands dirty...
