Only a one night stay. Owners were quite friendly and helpful. Surroundings were very quiet in a nice environment. Our child enjoyed feeding the goats dandelion stems. Lodging was a bit rustic largely due to the shower sharing the same floor as the rest of the bathroom. Just put down towels and all’s well. One aspect I don’t agree with is charging extra for bed linens. This was a new one for me and I only noticed it in the reservation confirmation. The fee is nominal but I’d suggest including it with the room cost. That said, I don’t think they charged us when we checked out for that fee. Lastly, this place is pretty close to Legoland/Lego House if you prefer a more rural setting.
Its ver nice the place and quite. Save for the children with playground and animals. also is close to Legoland. The apartaments are conffortable, size medium . we stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids. Fully recommended
Though we only sent one night here, we had a really good time. Het owners are very friendly and helpful. The kids loved the animals and the playground on the farm, the apartment was clean, outfitted well and roomy and the countryside is beautiful!
We stayed here for 2 nights with our kids in August and were quite pleased. It was a nice change to stay in a farm setting with horses, chickens, and wild pigs rather than just a typical hotel. The kids really enjoyed it and were occupied with the animals, trampoline and other things on site. The owner Ole was very nice to us and gave us some fresh eggs to cook and also brought a bunch of us for a very enjoyable horse and buggy ride one evening. Our room was clean, cosy and had what we needed with good wifi. I would definitely recommend this place as something different. It is also only 10 minutes from Legoland, which is why we went to Billund in the first place.
This is the perfect place to stay for a family - the cottages are spacious and comfortable with a separate living room/adjoining kitchen. The kids room had bunks and a single bed complete with toy boxes - perfect for three kids (and high speed internet for everyone else!) The other room had a double/twin bed arrangement. Very clean and tidy with all you need to cook/make meals in the kitchen. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly, I really felt like they enjoy having guests come to stay. Gorgeous farm setting (complete with horses, pigs, chickens, kittens etc) and huge dedicated play area for kids. We chose to stay here instead of Legoland Hotel simply for the price, but as soon as we arrived we realised we could easily have stayed 2 nights and just enjoyed a whole day relaxing at the farm. Outside there is a whole children's playground, trampoline and swings etc, but the very best bit was the intricately home-made backyard football golf course. The whole family played out there, including a round with the owner who built the course, for hours. So much fun. This short stay was easily the highlight of our visit to Billund and would recommend it highly to anyone who prefers wide open spaces, cosy accommodation, good value and genuine hospitality to big, faceless, run-down hotels. So glad we followed the recommendations and didn't pay four times the price to stay at Legoland. Give Bindesbolgard Football Golf a try - our low score to beat is 33! (the owner's is 26) :)…
