We arrived here via motorbike on our trip through Germany. We hadn't booked a place for the night and just googled a place to sleep. The hotel is quaint, staff friendly and a few speak English. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom had a nice hot shower with complimentary toiletries. We ate supper at the hotels restaurant as we stayed here on a Sunday night and nothing was open. Supper was tasty but not fantastic. The only thing was the.local band arrived home from a day out performing and proceeded to spend until 23h00 sitting outside drinking beers and talking really loudly but once last call was announced they all stumbled off home. The other thing was the church bell across the road chimes every 15 minutes, a little annoying if you are not used to it and it doesn't lend itself to a peaceful night's sleep. Thank you for a quick stay, we enjoyed ourselves

I have been to the Adler many times over the years and always had a great stay. The rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities one could wish for. Since the recent (2014) upgrade the wifi is very fast and the restaurant has had a stylish re-vamp. The food is always excellent and the wine list extensive.
