My husband and I arrived at Heimay intending to only stay one night on the island and leave the next day. Unfortunately, a giant storm blew in overnight and we ended up being stranded for another night. We showed up at Ruth's door again and...More
We stayed in room 3 which was comfortable for two people. The host is wonderful, and was able to provide suggestions about what to do before and during our visit. We wouldn't have found/explored a number of key areas without her knowledge and insight.
We stayed one night here in June 2014.

I am planning a trip to Iceland and would like to know if you have availability. I see in the reviews that I need to contact Ruth for all my questions, but I cannot find a direct email here on Trip Advisor, so I am posting here. I have read about the festival on first weekend of October. My wife and I would like to stay on the island for two nights: Saturday 1 Aug and Sunday 2 Aug, checking out Monday 3 Aug.
Somebody please tell me how to get in contact with the staff and so I can make a reservation. Robert Kral.
