We stayed for three nights in this huge hotel away from city center. It is probably ideal for business travelers (the room had three phones) but it is not big on romance. The breakfast which is included with the room is excellent, and the staff at reception are very helpful. It is not convenient for walking to restaurants, etc. but...

After one week around Iceland, we decided to spend the last night in Reykjavik in a nice and comfortable hotel, as Hilton always is. This hotel is a 10 minutes drive from the city center and it has all the amenities that Hilton usually offers. The price is reasonable considering Icelandic standards, and the location is convenient, provided that you...

This is. Newer hotel that seems to be favored by film production teams. The rooms are very clean, but quite Spartan in decor. While the beds are comfortable, the lack of softness makes the noise levels quite high. Location is out of the center of town, requiring a car or expensive taxi if you want to enjoy the shopping and...

The Hilton Nordica is nicely located not far from the downtown area of the city. Made easier by a free shuttle or use of a free bus pass. The standard rooms are small (by US comparison) but very clean and quite suitable. The concierge service within the gift shop is one of the best. Extremely helpful, knowledgeable and pleasant. The...

I just returned from a tour of Iceland with Overseas Adventure Travel and this was our first and last hotel of the trip. Superb food was a treat. Breakfasts were lavish with many choices. Rooms were very quiet and comfortable. Free bus passes were given from the front desk to take the 15 minute ride to the city center.

As there on business important thing was to be able to take some of the breakfast for lunch but obviously 4 slices of bread is against there policy so completely un allowed. Fortunately Icelandair Natura is much nicer so they get the business!

Thank you kindly for writing us a review. I am disappointed to hear that you found our service to be below your standards. However in regards to guests making take away lunch from the breakfast buffet, unfortunately this is not allowed, we do however sell various kinds of pre packed lunch boxes which our guests can order in advance to...

I'm getting more and more convinced the only people who like Hilton are Americans who wished they stayed in the U.S. The hotel in Reykjavik was located in a relatively poor location. You leave the city centre, pass a gas station and some car dealerships and then you arrive. I suspect the location was a bet on Reykjavik becoming a...

This was the first stop for us on our Honeymoon, and we loved everything about the hotel. We arrived very early in the morning, and not only did the friendly staff let us check-in, they upgraded us to a full suite ! The staff are extremely helpful and professional, the location is ideal and the hotel is modern, clean and...

This hotell was great. A bit classic Nordic style, meaning room are as big as in many ohter countries. However, that is more than offset by very high standard. great breakfast, excellent gym facilities and overall nice environment makes this a good place to stay

This hotel more than met our expectations. It is very convenient, on a main road. At the same time, it is quiet, with very accommodating staff and great breakfasts. The rooms are not huge but very well maintained with comfortable beds and pillows. It is a very good place for pick up and drop off to tours. Shuttle service to...
