Overall can't think of a single criticism of this hotel: it is beautifully decorated with lots of areas to sit and relax. The rooms themselves were clean and nicely laid out. The highlight was definitely the staff: they couldn't do enough to help at any time of day.

While the location is not exactly downtown, it is in a nice area and on the bus line to downtown. They even give you a bus pass ( which you have to return when you leave. The buffet breakfast is fantastic. Don't forget to try the Skyr, an Icelandic specialty. Rooms are small compared to US standards, but bigger than...

The hotel is pretty nice and close to downtown, you can even get a bus card for 4 people to take the bus as many times as you want without paying. Breakfast buffet is very complete, however the dinner menu is quite simple. Rooms are small but nicely decorated, when traveling with big luggage, as we did, you need to...

What a lovely hotel, clean rooms, great breakfast buffet, and the staff are so kind and helpful. Dinner at VOX was simply divine and worth every cent! They offer a bus pass for guests that makes it easy to get into and around time, a very nice offering if I do say so! What a nice place to stay for...

A gem of US style size, comfort and amenities in Europe. Rooms are much larger, Bathrooms are of US standard and staff, lobby, executive lounge, bar and restaurant are top notch. Cost is not low - but value is there... HHonors members getting spa massage and treatment is a hidden jewel!

We only had 24 hours in Iceland but we made the most of it with our stay at the Hilton. Although it was a bit outside of downtown, the hotel provided a free bus pass which made access very easy. The room was awesomely quiet which was needed for sleep before the long plane ride home. Can't say enough great...

We stayed here for five nights in an Executive room. Room was great with the only negative being the size of the bathroom which was on the small side and lacked any storage space. On the upside, the Executive lounge was great with fantastic staff who couldn't do enough for us. Plenty of drinks in the evening and a good...

The staff here are great, really kind and helpful. Our 4th floor room was small but wth a mountain view. The free bus pass is super. You can catch any bus opposite the hotel to down town, with 1 simple change at Helmur bus station. There is also a free shuttle bus to Kingsland shopping centre which has a decent...

Stayed here for two nights in December, weather outside was -7, but heating kept room toasty warm. Check in and out was quick and staff friendly, and room was modern, and clean if not a little small for an executive room, but this was no issue. Due to a late arrival I ordered room service on the first night, and...
