I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and it was great. Bit worried after booking this place due to the low price compare to other hotel. People complain price was too high. Yes it is but so is everything is Iceland. Wake up people! Positives Great location. Walking distance from all the downtown tourist sites and also all tour...

I stayed for two nights Oct 6 and 7/ 2016 at 4Th floor hotel and was VERY SURPRISED HOW THTIS HOTEL IF DIFFERNT FFOM WHAT I EXPECTED. With price $130 CAD per night the size of the room is so small that you cannot put your luggage...and this is with shared bathroom. If you squeezed your luggage between closet and...

The positives first ! The front desk staff are just grand ! So helpful and nice ! Just have to mention that they are not native "Icelanders", so make what you will of that ! The hotel is in a good location for walking almost anywhere in the city. Rooms and bathrooms are clean but tiny, tiny, and you can...

Breakfast - Wide variety, will 100% find something you like! Tasted lovely as well! Reception - The women at reception I take my hat off to you all, we nagged these ladies senseless, they booked our days out, changed our times for us, changed one booking when we didn't want to go anymore, made sure we knew the times etc...

I had a horrible experience with this hotel. My room wasn't ready for six hours after I arrived, leaving me to wander the streets with my luggage. When my room was finally "ready" I found pubic hair on my sheets and hair on the walls in the shower. I cleaned the shower myself so I could finally clean up from...

We spent two nights here on our trip in August. The location was great for walking. We walked from the BSI coming from the airport. (didn't realize the walk was mostly up-hill). We also walked all over Reykjavik during our stay. The room was small, but spotless and had everything we needed. The private bath was new and also very...

This hotel is in a great location, close to main shopping and dining street. The hotel is quite dated and a bit shabby but it is clean and gets the job done. The included breakfast makes the stay more than worthwhile as Reykjavik is a vary expensive city. I would stay here again just for location.

Stayed here for one night with a large group. Toilets needed cleaning, and nothing happend eventhough I pointed it out at the front desk. Smelly (also from drain) and no handsoap. Lots of noice from the street. Quite close to town centre. Rooms ok

The room was very small and narrow. The bathroom was outside of the room in hall and the shower was in another room in the hall. There were loud noises from the street below late into the night. Breakfast was good.
